But guess what? Per my past 7 years of experiences with ICICI bank, they will never appologize or neither will they accept their mistakes in writings! Trust me, they will say 'Sorry & it was our mistake' over the phone, but absolutely no mention of this fact will be there in the email you are going ...to receive from them (if you are fortunate enough to be one out of a million who receives email/letter reply from ICICI customer care). Excellent man....I have personally gone through the similar case. I have got offer letter that my home loan is approved for 8% and now I am paying 13.5%. The big time cheat, local loan's manager did not let me opt for fixed rate of interest at that time, now I understand why!

I repeat..Airtel sucks! had terrible experineces where Airtel's Customer Relationship Officer (displaying his ID card) came to my residence along with 3 other goons and demanded money! I had to call 100 for police emergency and later senior Managers from Airtel (Bharathi tower, Santhome, Chennai) me...t me personally to appologize. They do everything under the sky to make money. Follow-up: I received an email from Quality Head's office (the same quality head who was sleeping all these days and never cared to open his/her mail box) today after publishing the blog here. Thanks to mouthshut and my fella readers. But guess what? The same usual questions - whom did you send the... documents?!!! To you ma'm!!! My Experience with ICICI

This is basically from a Staf who turned Customer and remains Customer. He has mentioned that he contacted phone banking twice and it was pleasing. May be when you have to call more often like I do, then probably your opening may change. Approach the bank for a loan fore-closure, loan tenure change,... interest change from floating to flat, etc..then please come back and share your experiences! Perfect example! I had to go through lot of pain with this bank and will strongly suggest people to stay far from this bank. Better Safe than Sorry! When there was a mistake in the home loan EMI calculation, they took 3 months and 52 emails to accept their mistake and correct it!

I am not going to the technical sides as this is a news or a review. But the fact is that one should be really careful when approaching ICICI for any banking needs. Getting a loan from Nationalised banks like Indian Bank, Punjab National Bank, etc may be a bit tough, but believe me guys..its really ...worth taking that pain than falling for private sector banks like ICICI.
