Dear Readers,

This is my follow-up to review I posted about ICICI Bank Ltd under Personal Finance category.

Even after more than 20 emails I have sent asking to close my loan account, quality head's office is asking me "this is how we are gonna respond to you. Do yu still wanna close the loan a/c?" 100% disgusting attitude and this is rediculous. No service industry, anywhere in the world, can be so useless and crap. I am banking with world class institutions like Bank of America, Citi Group, American Express, etc in the United States and honestly regret for having a relationship with ICICI Bank.

Here is what profit ICICI makes in return to all the trouble then had given me: If I close the loan now, I will pay Rs:6000 towards pre-closure. Else I will end up paying Rs: 20000/- over a period of 2 years towards interest. For making an additional profit of Rs:14000/- this bank is causing all these trouble to me. I have been following up for 2 months now and nothing has happened so far. Guess what the wise customer agent had advised me? Spend Rs:1 lakh, come to India & close the loan! No wonder ICICI officials being man-handled occasionally. Read on...

Rajini,

Thisis the limit and perfect example of how ICICI Bank chests customers byjust breaking he promises! I have received foreclosure statement thricebefore in my email and I have sent across ECS mandate form many times, authorising ICICI Bank to debit the money from my account. Now why thehell on earth are you sending a copy to me once again? I have alreadygot confirmation from your customer care that you have received thedocuments I have sent. What are you trying to prove here now?Rediculous!! You guys are just pathetic, exactly the same way how youwere, when I approached you 10 months back to correct a mistake in myhome loan EMI calculation!!

This is the classical example how ICICI bank gets extra money fromthe customers by not letting them come out of their financialliabilities with this bank. What do you want from me now? That you wantme to be a lonn customer throughout my life and keep paying youinterest? Stop this disgusting attitude right now, I have hadexperienced enough of it from this bank and your office in particular. Head Customer Quality - heads all cheating that ICICI bank does!

Now I want you to dig your mailbox, pull the ECS mandate form I have sent out (if you are unable to find it, talk to

Sharda GhanekarCustomer Service ExecutiveICICI Bank Limited

Heis the one mailed me stating they have received ECS mandate form fromme). Now stop asking me stupid questions such as "If you want toforeclose"!!! I have sent out at least 20 emails in this regard andstill you are asking me if I need to foreclose this loan. What do youthink- all these days I was mailing you for fun and I am jobless?! Stopmaking fun of your customers and I under no conditions accept this kindof sarcastic messages from you.I am not mailing your office forfun, I just want to close this loan and get rid of your services. DOYOU UNDERSTAND THIS? IT LOOKS LIKE YOU HAVE SOME PROBLEM INUNDERSTANDING SIMPLE ENGLISH!

Do respond immediately.

Rajini,

Have you gone mad to ask me again the mail ID to which I sent the documents? I have marked this email ID (headservicequality@icicibank.com) in all the correspondences and whatever documents I have sent across, should be in your mailbox too. Additionally I marked Customer.Care@icicibank.comalso in all my emails, though I am not sure if your customer careservices still exist! Now are you still claiming that no emails were received on thiscase so far on headservicequality email ID? I had clearly mentioned the names of theCustomer Service Head also in the complaint (published in the blog), still you are asking whom did I send the documents!! hats-off to ICICI!!
