Via travels is hopeless Via travels is a total total disappointment. The coach type supposedly -Multiaxle B9R A/C Volvo was so jerky that even the city Volvos are much comfortable and smoother.
1.The departure time was 9 p.m, but there was no bus in sight for 2 hours. At 10.30 I lost my control and... called up your office, spoke to Deepak who wasn’t informed that the passengers are still waiting for the pickup. Is this the way your system works. Take the money, and forget if people have actually boarded, if the bus has come or not. Strange pretty strange… The bus finally arrived at 11 p.m, 2 hours late from the scheduled departure, and with no courtesy on part of your team to inform the passengers. We were made to wait in a small dingy room with few chairs and dark sneaky toilet to use if required. The reasons may be beyond your control but then atleast you could communicate
2. We reached at 4 a.m and were told that 20 minutes are given to freshen up and have breakfast. Is this the way??? The bus started late and the whole programme was delayed, but then why are the passengers held responsible? Why can’t the operator run multiple busses to ensure that the delays do not cascade on the subsequent schedules? The breakfast was served at 4 p.m. How would you expect a person to have breakfast at 4 am? Where does 1 hour transit accommodation goes?
3. The tour guides are awfully rude. Via claims itself a good travel operator offering various packages, hotels, flights and other tourist services, but we were surprised to see the attitude of the staff. As we reached the hotel, the rude guy (so called guide) climbed the bus a little before 4 a.m. I bet you would understand that most of us would be asleep and would not be able to understand the guy’s clamour. He started screaming at the top of his voice and when we ask him to speak in Hindi or English, he rudely ignored it and kept blabbering.
