Hi, Totally agree with you. I've been there a couple of times( In Mumbai ) and its just over rated place. Every food item they serve is average and as u said, all the prawn items are cooked to greasy texture that u literally have to take the prawn and wipe it off with a napkin for the masala and the...n eat it. They like any other restaurants have 2-3 inexperienced cooks who dish out a big load of masala and oil along with anything u order.Read More

Gentlemen, What you failed to understand is that like millions of people who believe in ''ignorance is bliss'' you invested your hard earned money without understanding the intricacies of a ULIP. Without doing your research and analysis you decided to trust some agent and part with your hard earned ...money. There are 100's of people out there selling fake things, that does not mean you shud fall for their gimmicks. Screwing up a marriage suit. Can't imagine what you must have gone through. But, i totally second you on that. The tailors are bad, I got a few suits altered and they messed up 2 of them. I had to fight and get the tailor and the manager to redo it without any cost.
For all suit lovers i'd say . ...Go in for a ready made suit and then pay some money to get it altered. Never get a suit stitched unless u are 200% sure of the tailor and hi skills. All part of the learning experienceRead More

Stop fixating on their air hostesses. With all that s#@! on the plane ,, u seemed very happy at the end just by looking at the air hostesses.
If they are bad they are bad.Nothing plus about pretty faces.

In the international air travel British airways is to UK as Air India is to India.

and the comment from siddhartho is very racist ' do you expect anything more from African airliners'. Look at your own country first .. Air india/India Airlines are much much worse than those african carriers you know tha...t. Believe me i have seen a 1000 times that its the indians onboard kenya airways who make the flying experience worse.Read More

Kenya Airways is one of the better airlines, i have flown it a 100 times. This is just a one of case.Sympathies for that. As smann rightly said the india carriers are worse man, this is nothing.

Man, I bet that must have been a nightmare. I'm hope these crappy airlines will not exist in the next 5 years. Or atleast they learn and realise the true meaning of customer service. Our service industry is yet to come of age.

Praveen32, I totally agree with you that indian airline companies are totally capable of doing such things. I have experienced such crazy things even on KF.I'm not surprised that such an event happened.

If you are a seasoned flyer with the domestic carriers and have never come across such... incidents it doesn't mean the facts presented by someone are incorrect.
Trust me such incidents have happened. It sounds too illogical ( the reasoning) to be true but they happen...

Hi Shweta,
First of all, This is just a forum and don't reveal sensitive information like your card details and the details of your personal travels and commitments.
Secondly, this is clearly a case of card skimmimg. Your card details have been stolen ( It could be anywhere , by the bank people ...or by some merchant where you have used this card yourself.)
From this you can learn one lesson , that is that when ever you swipe your card, make sure you are present at the place where the merchant actually swipes the card. Some merchants use alternate machines to duplicate your card details. ( When we give our cards to be swiped ; It could be a 5 star hotel or a jewellery shop or some small grocery shop).
Next thing. you have very strong case against the bank and you will have to go the nearest CONSUMERFORUM redressal and literally fight it out.
There is no alternative.
Try to find the the original papers through which you first received the card, the clauses in then will come handy when you file the case and fight it out in the consumer redressal forum.

Dear Mr. Prasad,
That was a good insight into the credit cards and their use.
I have been working with these credit card software for a long time. I can make a 100 suggestions but its just that they will do no good to the readers.
And the things you mentioned can technically be implemented by ...the banks.
HSBC already has the use of a 6 digit pin as early as 4 years ago.
And CVV on the card is definitely not welcome for the more tech savy thieves, who are farily uncommon in India than abroad.
Thnaks for your feedback. Will update my article appropriately when i have enough information that could make real sense to credit card users.
