I booked the tickets to my parents from hyd to Kansas through British Airways on May 17th the flight got some technical issues, which they realized at the time of takeoff on the Runway and everyone got off the flight. Finally after a long wait in hyd they rerouted them via New delhi and accomodated them in Air INDIA to Chicago. In chicago they have to wait for another 12 hours to get into the flight and guess what the connecting American airlines doesnot have seats available because they have come later than expected. they have to wait for another few hrs to get into a flight. finally they arrived the destination.
I just called british airways to enquire about baggage and now they said the tickets are cancelled because my parent's didn't show up and you know what, they are already here and its been a month. Now they are asking me to pay no show fee and the fare difference to get the return ticket in oct. The ticket is actually a round trip ticket, and now they are saying they dont have any records of them flying with british airways to USA, and interestingly they are the one who put my parents in Air INDIA. Now I am pissed, frustated and writing this mail. I am thinking of approaching the consumer court and sue their as. Alright guys sorry I am just frustated. Hope this helps
