Crankshaft failure is not a problem with all Santro, but Santro's in one particular batch ie in 2004 model (Xing - eRLX) have this problem. But Hyundai identified this and rectified the same in later cars. Try avoid buying 2004 model Santro (if the problem was not happened before).

Yes, perfectly agree with you. These companies never market oriented or never understand the most important P factor (Price) in this market ie. never want to offer cars which are affordable to common man. I am not telling that every car should be priced as Nano, but there should be a minimum sense o...n - what people can afford. An average Indian never wants to burn his hard earned money, just for brand value or for social status - because whatever you spend on any car, its only have 50% value after two years. So its always better to spend a cheep alternative with compatible features than spending huge on Jazz.Read More

I dont find any problems with Matiz spares in Chennai. Everything is available. For rare items sometimes it takes 3-4 days as it needed to be sourced from a wholesaler. Only thing is you need to build a contact with a good matiz stockist....Also please find a reliable service center....

Hi Avishkar, Please tell me specifically 'Why Astar is better than Spark?' I am planning to buy a new car and zeroed down to Spark. I checked Astar and I am not impressed with the backseat space, boot space and gear shift.At the same time Spark is an all rounder.

I too have the same problem. I opted for malayalam and they activated tamil. I complained about the issue at leaset ten times. No results. The Big TV is managed by some senseless idiots. Now I think of throwing out the connection and go with Airtel (If their service is good).
