Hello,
Previously I had a 2005 Model Alto, which I sold last year and upgraded(Actually Downgraded) to this one in April 2012. It is Probably the Worst decision of my Life till Date. This car has Nothing good in comparison to Maruti Alto. My old alto was giving 20+ kmpl mileage where as this Hyundai is giving only 13 kmpl .. Its totally horrible... Now, about Performance Eon has No comparison to any Maruti Car. In my 7 years of Driving Experience with Maruti I had never faced any issue but for last one and half year, it has been a painful Experience with Eon. To add this, congress govt is increasing the Petrol Price every fortnight.. It makes more Panic.
About the Car, It has a lots of issue:
1) Mileage : Probably this is the inborn issue of Hyundai, neither of Hyundai car ever provided good FE like Maruti. Even i10 is having Poor Mileage issue..
2) The Engine is much more Rough.
3) The Gear shift is not at all smooth.
4) The Pick Up is sluggish when the AC is ON.
5) The Quality of Material is Extremely Bad. In a Sudden Break, the front Glass gets cracked, which is Horrible..
6) Yes, the Most pathetic thing is the Hyundai Service and Hyundai Insurance... Hyundai is not at all caring for the insurance of its car.. When I claimed for the same, they cheated me in every possible way, they told that this is not coming under insurance policy. Moreover, when I inquired the same I find that all these things are under insurance. After a lots of Arguments and more than a month, I got my Glass changed that too by paying more than half the Price..
Its totally Fraud Company...
My suggestion is Do not Buy these cars.. These are very Cheap in terms of Quality and Service...
