I drove test drives of eon and aulto 800 today. Eon is more sophisticated and cute with better seats and dashboard, but Aulto 800 is more robust with simple interiors. Aulto 800 seemed more refined in performance. Eon lags behind aulto but was not too bad.
I also noticed gear shifting of aulto was way improved as its based out of cable shifting mechanism and has got improve shockers, and disk+drum breaks on it. So if you want a fancy good performer car, can bear costly service and low mileage, go with Eon But if you want a robust car, with 0 maintenance and best in class mileage -petrol mileage of 19/CNG28 and a very true value for money car that's light on pocket, Go for Aulto 800.
Better go for Aulto 800 CNG, you will keep driving it without thinking about the fuel cost for the ride…. and the factory fitted CNG is very much compatible with engine life and performance , with no power lag. Well as a matter of choice, I booked the same today $$, a granite grey aulto 800 lxi cng :)
