This may seem to be a unusual title one would give to a review. But let me give you what I felt after I had a look and test drive of the car. This is a review by a average car user and not a tech expert in automobiles.

This car has innovative exteriors. There is nothing which seems out of place or does not look like City kicked in the rear. So much to my relief one point scored by honda from my side. Very stylish. Hey but alloy wheels are missing. Now as I stepped into the car I found room in it . Good . Three people can squeeze in the back seat . But not bad for a city-ride. If you plan to take it on a long drive be sure to drop one person at home. Long drives will be comfortable for 4 people.

Interiors are posh and rich . Give that lush feeling all around. But be sure not to throw your hat back since this car does not have a parcel tray you will have to open the boot to retrieve the hat. There are lots of cubby-holes all over interiors. They are useful when you on a long drive you need a load of fluids but to as a city-car I find them a tad waste of space. You really do not goto a theater with 10 bottles of water packed in the car.Very very clever use of seats to create boot space. Honda deserves claps for this.

Engine performance is good and responsive. But I believe the sales force should stop fooling people with bhp numbers. Hey 90bhp at 6200rpm. Thats a lot of power at high engine speeds which if used in urban scenario counts to nothing since in city driving engine rpm never crosses 3000 mark unless you are one of the fast and furios type. 16kmpl is the claimed average I would wait and let owners comment on it.

Music system is integrated but could have been more futuristic and added a USB slot. Still ok since I always tune to a radio station blabber I will give it full points.

Now to the economics of the buying decision 8.05Lakh on-road in Pune. Somebody please pinch me I am either asleep or stone deaf. Let me think of two scenarios:

Scenario 1: I am filthy rich and I want a car to bolster my snob value. I wouldn't buy a hatchback at 8Lakh I would invest 1 lakh more and get a City or 1.5Lakh more and get a lowest end Altis. So I would not even look at this car.

Scenario 2: I look for VFM product which diverts my attention to something like i20 Asta(o) which offers me same comfort and feel and safety as a Jazz and I save money.

So in either cases above Jazz does not fit into product requirements of a car owner.
