My TV remains same with Tatasky as well as Airtel, its tiny yes compare to today's modern LCD's its 21' regular TV. User Interface provided by Airtel is pathetic compare to even DishTV.
I have been using Tatasky for over 2 years and never complained a single thing to their customer care. Just 2 d...ays back I called up them and told to change my package from Super saver to Family pack and they did it instantly without charging me anything.
After getting Airtel installed, within 45 minutes I had to fight with cutomer care people when I requested them to change my pacage from regular one to mega package. They told it will cost me 75 Rs. and whenever I change package they will charge me that much. Once I go to Mega pack I loose my current free package of 12 months and they will not allow me to revert to it. I told them to reduce months of free package for the time I use Mega pack, they refused.
Guys after looking at the quality of service, I actually had asked them to take away their dish antenna and stp from my premise and return me my money, just within 1 hour of installation and they told its not possible as it's installed.
I wish if I would have opted either big tv or tatasky. I am not any fan of tatasky, their prices are much higher compare to CHEAP airtel but atleast they are providing quality service.
Oh one more point about airtel: I got 2 top ups added, and I am told their billing starts from 26th of a month to 25th of next month, so even if you add your top up on 20th you will end up paying for full month and on 26th of same month you will be billed again, that is you will end up paying for 30 for just 5 days of top up.
With tatasky its flat 30 days no matter on which date you add your top up, they will give you service for 30 days. Luckily I got my Airtel installed on 23rd so it was easy for me to wait for 2-3 days to add top up.
With other DTH providers: I haven't heard good about DishTV, about BIG TV can't comment as I haven't tried it.Read More
