Nope they are not.. But were once..! @RupsTalks - You are right, they are currently not paying anything for RODs because the current contest has got nothing to do with ROD, since now its just an recognition.. But if you have won RODs between June 2014 (Probably) and Feb 2015, They would have paid... you Rs.1000 for each ROD.. But If you haven't yet, then yes you still may claim ROD reward from MS on request (May be).. For an Example, i have won 34 RODs so far, but rewarded only 3 of them because i won the rest 31 ROD only after Feb 2014!!Read More

Hi, @Kumarquality, Thank you for your kind words sir and sorry for Late Response.. The Car is still good, running nicely.. Ac is Good.. Breaks are ok but not strong.. Clutch is replaced with almost every service.. Pick up is terrible.. Well the reason why the santro has been alive with us so lon...g because - We did regular service, parked the car in our garage (keeping out of sun & rain) and did not use the car extensively (No Daily use).. But since now we park the santro on the street for past 2 yrs, so that we could park our Elantra into the Garage, The santro has started to rust a little.. :( But the car is still running good.. The Engine does not have the same pulling power it had 10 yrs ago because of Aging.. So the Engine gets heated up extremely when loaded with 5 passengers total.. Now my brother uses the car almost daily for a distance of 15 kms (to & fro).. The Santro has done 85k kms.. Well i have not noted the millage as of now, but i am sure it gives between 12 to 15 kmpl on highways.. Minus 10 kmpl in City traffic.. 4 yrs ago the car could reach about 120 kmph max on highways but wobbled a lot, so we do not exceed 100 kmph.. Now we use Elantra for highways.. I think you know the the rules of better engine, for the first 5k kms, you should not exceed the speeds of 80 kmph.. If you have did speeding when car was brand new, the car would experience millage drop.. Irregular usage of Clutch and Gears may also be the reason mileage drop in cities (Because you dont use Clutch & gears extensively on Highways).. If you still experience strange millage problems, take it to the service center.. But i dont think there is problem with your engine because you said it gives 20 kmpl on highways which is normal.. Try driving more on Clutch than using the gears and breaks.. Do not Race..Read More
