"Best hotel to stay down the Sacred Hill". Review on Hotel Bliss, Tirupati

Well when ever we visit Tirupati temple, we usually happen to take up the Cottage rooms ay top the Hill for staying.  This is what we having been following for years until 2009 when my father passed away. Because he only knew the contact person for booking room atop hill there.

How we do is - We book the room well in advance, then leave on day 1, reach there top of hill, take up the cottage room for night, day 2 morning Dharshan and back home by day 2 night.

But after 2009, we only had the option of booking by ourselves.  So out of options, we decided to book for a hotel Down the hill and after a long analysis, we decided to go for a 3 Star Hotel "Hotel Bliss" in 2010.

This was how our plan went this time - Started from Chennai, visited Tada Falls and Reached Bliss by 3pm. Look Lunch, took some rest and then went out for some shopping but did not find any good shops out there and returned back to hotel, took dinner and slept. Next day morning had Free BF, left hotel, traveled hill top and enter temple by 11am. Finished Dharshan by 3pm, came down and had lunch at down hill by 4pm and reached Chennai by 8 pm.

To be frank, it is one the the best hotels to stay at Down Tirupati if u did not get accommodation at Uphill Tirumala. Being a 3 star hotel, it provides almost all amenities a 5 star Hotel provides.

And here is my experience in terms of Pros and Cons -

Pros -

1. Very Clean Rooms, clean beds and clean Bathrooms.

   
   




2. Pretty good and fast Service. We were three adults and we demanded an extra Cot for our room and they got us one before 9:30 pm. Intercom was working just fine and the service through it was very quick too!

   
   




3. Rooms offers Adjustable Centralized A/C cooling, Color Tv with Cable Connection and A Refrigerator with water bottles, Chocolates and even Beer!

   
   




4. Ample Parking with parking assistance and lift Facility.

   
   




5. Clean Swimming pool(Both Hot and Cold).

   
   




6. Two inhouse Clean Restaurants, both Veg and another non-Veg(Navrattan and Khazana). A Bar is also Available.  The Break fast provided was Free As usual.  Every food Served here is Yummy.

   
   




7. Other Services available but we didn't avail - Laundry service and Gym.  We even did not had the time to use the Swimming pool:(

   
   




8. The over all Hotel Pricing including the Service and food is very nominal.  Very Affordable.

   
   




9. Staff were very supportive & Helpful from the Time of booking till we left the Hotel!

   
   

Cons -

Well I did't experience any worst cons at the hotel. But these are some which I felt missing.

1. The Balcony was Sealed with Net. So no outside view available even from the room. We missed the Hill view because of this.(Well, this might be for Safety reasons as we stayed at 3 floor of the hotel!).

   
   




2. Going to Terrance is Restricted and was locked.   When I went to Terrace on the day we arrived, the door to Terrace was locked. But surprisingly the door was open the next day morning! So I took my camera along with and took many photos of Hill and the town as well.

   
   




3. The 3 star hotel had no wifi Facility.  Well, this was back in 2010, may be now the Wifi might have been set up there.

   
   

Overall - This is one the best hotels available at Tirupati town for Stay(down Hill).  Swimming pool, Awesome food, clean Ambiance at Affordable price, Don't miss this!
