Hello,
There is no difference in music quality between a ME and a normal edition. ME just comes bundled with a 1 GB card and a mulmedia headset and has a dedicated music key.
Since you've ruled out SE (which are by far the best in music), the best Nokia phone as regards music is the 5300.

Firstly, Thanx for this luvly revu. You've summed up the labum very well.
Love the music. Alvida, Baatein.., O Meri Jaan are just too good.
Pritam also shows his expertise in orchestration. Each track sounds so complete

Very nice review,Suresh.Didn't like the soundtrack much.SEL have ended up spoiling good melodies with lots of unnecessary beats,esply 'Mera Dil',really sweet song,a perfect song for Shaan and he does do his singing impeccably here but the the moment the tabla loop is turned on,Im tempted to switch t...o the next track.
As you rightly indicated,It thankfully gets better at the end with Naveen's beautiful flute piece and the singers finishing it off beautifully.
Hoping that SEL seriously think of some innovation with their sound cuz,they are easily the best of the lot,along with V-S...Of Course,miles behind ARR :-)Read More

I loved the album,barring Baazi laga,the tune is just not Rahman,
As you said the album is nothin ground-breaking,but still is surely one of the year's best..Thats what is called RAHMAN's MAGIC!!

And those who think the songs are dul and boring,have to watch the film ;-)

Nice review,Krishna.
But will beg to disagree with you about Shaan's Main Hoon Don.
I think he's done a fab job,
There's a certain arrogance in his singing which goes so well with the feel of the song.

I simply the whole review,though it was not quite conventional.
Anu Malik has indeed done a very good job.
As you rightly said,maybe Ismail Darbar or even M.M.Kreem would've possibly done better.
But this sure is one of Anu's best!!
P.S: If not for the other songs,I'd request people t...o get the album just for the song 'Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya',sung by the immensely talented Richa Sharma.the pain exuded in that song is simply amazing.Kudos to Anu!!Read More

The one thing one needs while hearing such an album is PATIENCE.
I got the feel,that you didn't giove the songs a good hearing.
The review also seems hastily written!!
Anu has done a gud job with Umrao Jaan,IMO!!

Coming to the OST,All the songs are wonderful expect the last two.
Sau Dard really touches your heart.
Ajnabi Shehar sounds like those yesteryear songs sung by Rafi Sahab,maybe because this one's sung by Sonu.
And yes,Credit must go to the GV Prakash.
All the songs have b...een tastefully arranged.
Never in recent history,have bollywood songs sounded so grand.

I observe that people are all over SEL for remixing those two tracks.
Well,Farhan wanted those two songs in the OST and mind you,Khaike.. has been very well done,Udit Ji has sung with amazing energy.
Thums Up for that song!!
Ye Mera Dil sux big time..Sunidhi trying desperately hard to sound sensu...ous but just doesnt have the voice Asha ji had.
A big letdown!! :-(
The rest of the songs are very good.
On the whole,the Album would get a 3.5/5 from me :-)Read More

Would disagree with you on the tilte track.I think,its a terrific composition,and noone could have sung it better than Shaan.
