Hey Sudhir, Congrats on the Review of the Day... Well written review.. I think in the complaints that you have mentioned, i guess the rear window not going down fully and the justification given by the company does not make sense. If u have a kid then u will be extra cautious with it and there... are no rules that the kid should only sit in the rear seat, it can even sit in the front passenger seat along with the mother or some other family member.... So it does not fully justify the reason given by the manufacturer... Keep writing MaddyRead More

Hi Shiv, Congrats on a good decision to buy a great car... Good review as well.. Keep them coming.. @Dinzaach Dude i knew u were going to do something insane like that marathon run in your car. I would love to hear it either in a diary post or somewhere but plz do post it and dont forget... to m2m me once u do it coz i am bit tied up with work and rarely login to MS.. But buddy i would love to read it for sure.. Also I guess FIAT heard my prayers and have come out with a MultiJet Diesel engine in the Palio.. My dream answered.. I am going to own one soon.. And probably do something insanely similar to what you did... BTW just for stats, how many days did that take you to complete the entire trip..? Happy Driving MaddyRead More

Hi Ashutosh, That was very good info regarding the dimensions of the Indica and Indigo CS. Appreciate the fact that you have helped a lot of buyers in making their decision. But i beg to differ when u say that the quality of tata cars is pathetic. Coz i have a 2005 Tata Indica DLG and it ...has done 40,000 kms till date. I have only had 4 punctures all this while with the car and no other problem apart from the damned power windows in the front. So plz dont try to mislead people by telling them that the quality of tata cars is pathetic. I am aware of Indica's which have done more than a lakh kms and still in mint condition. It all depends on how u maintain your vehicle. @Naresh, I still did not understand what you meant by ' It gets old easily & has shorter life ' Trust me.. I used to work in a call centre.. I have spoken to Sumo and Indica cab drivers... Sumo is the most easy to maintain vehicle and it can do lakhs of kms without breaking a sweat if maintained properly. For that matter any vehicle has to be maintained to give u good service.Read More

Hey Pravi, Thank heavens u dont have the power windows in the car. Tata cars do not have good power windows... I have a tata indica with front power windows and I am having a nightmare with them. I would definitely prefer to go for tata cars for all their + points in terms of space and mileage ...and other things but i will surely not go for the one with power windows going forward. By the way nice review but was very short and should have been much more elaborate with regards to ride quality and other things.. Keep writing MaddyRead More

Kudos!!! my friend.. U just took the thoughts from my mind regarding fussy ppl.. U r rite when u say we have to be worried about the good engine, mileage and space inside for the passengers and the driver alike.... And thanks to you I have a true review on the Grande!.. I was still deciding whether ...to go for it or not.. You convinced me to go for it nonetheless... Happy driving MaddyRead More

I know that Bimal (modibimal) has a uni and loves his bike & has not faced any issues.. I have a about 4 friends who own uni's and are not facing any kind of problem... So either your luck was bad and u got a defective machine or ur service guys are not doing any job on your bike to rectify any issu...es that u mite have.. Take it to a trusted mechanic and he will do a much better job than ur Honda service center guys.. MaddyRead More

Hey there Bimal, Good revu on an excellent fone for the price at which its being offered. I too got one for my girl friend and boy does it rock. The only thing that i did not like is that the whole fone, front & back is totally glossy. It is a finger print magnet and looks smudgy and dirty when... u just touch it once. If LG had given a Matte black finish then it would have been much better.. That is only my opinion though coz i dont like glossy front and back panels... but my girl friend is enjoying the fone and its features.. Cool revu!! Keep writing MaddyRead More

Hi Deeps, No hard feelings buddy.. But just to make my point, I am not trying to convince for RTR.. I am just pointing out the wrong info provided in the revu.. I can never convince for any bike buddy...Coz its the rider who has to decide for himself and I always say that it has to suit the ridin...g style of the biker and only then should they decide to go for it... And regarding problems with the bike being short.. Its a myth.. Try it out for yourself and decide.. And the only reason why there is no revu from me on the bike is coz i want to spend a good amount of time with the bike to know the advantages and disadv as well before penning my thoughts.. Hey Dinesh, Congrats on your new buy.... Good revu too.. Had one question regarding the AC.. U said u have tested it in humid conditions.. Can u plz let me know if u have tried it when the car has been in the sun for a while and then u have switched on the AC and felt a difference inside the ca...bin... Coz in my Indica the AC works well if the car is in a shade and u start off with the AC.... But if its parked in the sun or if you are travelling on the highway in the afternoon and switch on the AC, it fails to cool the cabin even on the highest setting... BTW did u get hold of the air filters that we were discussing about for your car...? MaddyRead More

Hi Raghavendra, Congratulations on a good buy... have heard lots of appreciation for U-VA here on mouthshut and also from owner friends of mine. But since I travel a lot on highways its an obvious choice of modern diesels for me... Well written revu buddy!! Keep writing Maddy

As pointed out by Ganesh, there is something called as a test drive provided by all Car manufacturers during which you could have decided whether to go for this car or not.. and the way in which u have written the revu, i doubt if you really own this car or not...

Hi Pankaj, Good revu... Have only one question though.. Since I know about the new engine and suspensions in safari, there is no doubt in that dept... The only doubt i have is in the Gear shift and middle row leg space... Is the gear shift smooth and how is the leg space for middle row passenge...rs... Coz we are a family of 6 and love to go on long rides often. I considered going for Safari but dropped it coz i dint feel that the space in the middle row was that good.. If you could elaborate on this and tell me how is the comfort for middle row guys, then i mite reconsider my decision.. Thanks for a very informative revu too... Keep writing MaddyRead More

Good comparison but not very honest things said about the RTR... Well the discusssion seems to be going on but the best one was by Thunder... You cannot compare these two bikes and they should not be compared.. RTR may be short in length but is the best bike to drive in city and for the city racing ...stints that you have mentioned... Also the reason why you can beat a P180 with an RTR is coz of the same as mentioned by you about the weight of the bike.. Coz RTR has more power to weight ratio compared to P180... I dont think I can get you to agree to the above points since your MS id says it all..Read More

Hi Vino, Congrats on ur good decision for a wonderful bike.. I too own an RTR.. A red one at that... Awesome bike and like u said its easy to handle in city traffic.. And u r quite rite abt the wrist pain too.. Once u r used to the seating position n balance u wont feel a thing when riding it.. I... think this is the best production bike in present times compared to other bikes... I am also as old as u r and also the same height as u r.. The only difference is in our weights.. I weigh abt 8 kgs more than u.. Keep wirting MaddyRead More

With all due respect, what have you done for the country compared to a small farmer? All the people u have mentioned above as being number one in their fields for quite sometime took ample amount of time to reach their... Sania has probably spent half that amount of time.. She has not said that ...she will not play FOR the nation.. She has said that she will not play IN the nation.. There is a lot of difference between the two.. I neither like nor dislike Sania, but the comparison in the first question is ridiculous and hence this comment... The reason why she does not want to play IN the nation is coz ppl dont allow her to focus on tennis and pull her into one controversy or the other.. Which in my opinion too much for a 20 something to take when its her prime to focus on the sport...Read More

I just dont understand the mentality of Pulsar reviewers as to why there has to be a comment on RTR or A150 stating its not suitable for tall guys...Which is not correct... I too got misled by numerous revus here on diff bikes of its class that RTR is not suitable for tall guys... TVS designers are ...not jerks to design a bike only for short ppl... They will keep everything including the avg Indian height and weight before designing a new bike... And let me repeat, at the risk of being repetetive in all my bike comments, that I am a 6 footer who is riding RTR for the past 3 months without any issues related to neck, back, leg, wrist pains...I am very happy that I tested the bike before buying it and very contented with my decision... I would say that the seating position and balance has to be decided by the buyer by testing the bike properly before purchase.. Happy riding MaddyRead More
