I used to like this gal given that she started to show that Indian gals can play at international tournaments but few points I'd like to see given her recent comments that "she has so much for the nation".
- What she has done to this country compared to a small and minuscule farmer?
a. Nothing much. She played Tennis, and earned huge cash rewards, started to be the brand ambassador for lot of companies. At least a farmer does a lot of service to the country by feeding people and support all the con man( I guess we call them Neta's) with his naivety.
- What achievements she has made in the international arena?
a. Dont think so a lot other than being in the top-50 ranks. However I've to say that Sachin, Vishwanadhan Anand, Koneru Hampi, Jaspal Rana, Dhanaraj PIllai, Bhutia done much better than that. They stayed no.1 for quite some time in their own sports.
- What is her prospects in the future?. can she bring a Olympic Gold?
a. Not quite sure. I'll leave it up to the community
Why I started to dislike her.
She is not doing any service to this nation. So she cant claim that she is frustrated although she has done so much for this country yet she has to hear comments about her dress, and other stuff.
She didnt even apologized for the dis-respect she has shown to the national flag. O.K. I havent seen that in reality but saw the photographs. She says she has done nothing wrong so no need to say sorry. But can you do the same towards any religious icons or towards any of our Neta's?
Dont want to play in India due to the comments and criticism she has to face. This is the funniest and worst decision every made by any player. A lot of players denied playing to their own nations but this gal is complaining that some people criticize so she dont want to play for the nation. instead if she says it publicly that she is not getting the "appearance money" that's why she is not playing that would have been much better.
Well, if it's political reasons between tennis groups in India then I've to say Sania, you are old enough to make your own decisions. Dont give us crap. Grow up.
