Fiat has proved once again in their new version of SIENA 1.2 EX that they know and can do far better than any others as far as Engine Management System, the overall riding comforts and, above all, safety to the inmates, and can make it cheaper. Indian road and traffic conditions demand emergency operations in gears which is possible only in manual gear changing. Auto gears take time to assess what you are doing and what the rpm of Engine and pressure on it are. By then things happen bad.
This is best suited for disciplined traffic, ...Read more

Hi, your review is very elaborate and you are fit to be a technical journalist for a photographic magazine.
The Grid Lines are really very useful in retaining real perspective whil shooting tall buildings. I found it very useful when I photographed Thirumalai Naick Mahal of Madurai, which every o...ne appreciates. In the past people had to buy a grid lined viewfinder glass at very high cost. It is a funny innovation at no cost now. Thank Nikon for this gift!

Hi Nikku,
Thanks for your comments.
The mileage depends on your driving style and the traffic congestion. Yet , it shall not be too low as you say.
Do not apply brakes often and do not drive on low gears for long. Uno is comfortable with 4th gear even in Mumbai city traffic, if you just le...arn to drive so this.
On Mumbai roads, Uno should give much better average than what you claim, since I get 13 in my city, where traffic is senseless and idiotic like driving through a herd of buffalows.
Try proper inflating pressure of tyres, (28psi in front and 26 on the rear, with no load, and 28-27 withload.) Tyre pressures also affect mileage.
Uno has first three gears for Torque and the fourth and fifth gears for power. Which means,
once you go to the fourth gear, you can travel through all roads, with the same gear unless there is absolute need for reducing the gear.
By practice you should train for this type of driving which is possible only in FIAT Uno at this calss of cars.
