Hi Jerry, The current Odometer reading is 14500 kms, its been 17 months, the mileage is still at 42 kmpl. All free services were done and I am having a schedule of service at every 2000 kms or 3 months. Its been a pleasant journey, I never had any major trouble so far. Only 1 punture in last 17 mont...hs.
Small Issues till now were,
1. The centre stand spring is not good, have tried replacing it 2 times and got welded many times as well, but still when you are crossing a hump with pillion on, then it is bound to scratch the hump.
2. The chain gets loose every 500 kms, I have got to set it. But this is common in any bullet I believe.
3. Seat cover is excellent. No issues till now.Read More

Having Expectations...is waste of time Having expectations from Politicians of this age I believe is wasting our time. A true help if intended has to be done without any pomp or glamour. So if it is done in any other means it propagates ulterior motives hidden for personal gain, as in the case of Ra...hul Gandhi here.
Public,I believe is tired of these kind of Tantrums used by politicians. And they are not sure which one to remember,I had completely forgot about this.Nice Post.Read More

Yes, Its been 5 months and odo meter has crossed 4500 kms, And the bike is doing very well. There is no drop in the mileage, its still at 44-46 kms per litre. I have done 3 long rides on this bike now. No problem faced till now. I have changed the silencer to old Thunderbird one. The sound is ok now.... And one ultimate thing still is the Initial pick up, its awesome.
No Oil leak at all. I believe they have finally arrested this problem here. After 2 services, there has been no problems, and I have spent only for oil from past services.Read More

Mr.Invincible - The Initial pickup is good. But on top speeds its amazing, (the 21 bhp really adds an edge). Though your daily usage is only 15km, you you take it out on weekends for long trips. May be 1 long trip a month (minimum 400 kms) should be worth it.

I was waiting desperately for almost 6 weeks after watching the trailers of Hancock - 2008. And the universe set everything right on Wednesday morning for this treat. Casted by Will Smith, Charlize Theron, Jason Bateman, the movie goes very well with its comedy bites for the first 40 min. Audien...Read more

Hi Antony, I had mentioned 42 kmpl when my odometer was only 407. But now after first service it is 48. And the comparison goes like this. TBTS engine is called unit construction engine (a.k.a.One piece module) It has 6 clutch plates when compared to others (which has only4) and twin spark engine he...lps this as well.I met the DGM of Royal Enfield chennai, he said in test conditions TBTS has given 52 kmpl. But they only promised 45, as it differs from rider to rider.
Hope I have answered your questions. Meanwhile I have one question for you, can we compare a bike's mileage with CC statistics??? Royal enfield has spent 50 croresand design and developent of this engine. I believe you can visit any showroom and nobody claims less than 45.....Read More
