The saying "Man proposes and God Disposes" has been roaming from past 2 days in every corner of my mind. Thats because of this incident, In continuation about my passion for long rides on my bike, last saturday we had planned for a long trip to Ooty from bangalore. We had 2 weeks to go when we had panned this at the start, so obviously we had a lot of enthu and anxiousness running in our veins. I with my first trip on the new bike purchased last week was totally out of mind. Even brought a lot of accessories for this trip. And we were all set on Saturday morning at our usual meeting point......
The journey started off very well, we had everything as planned. 14 bikes together. Once we were off Mysore, the dismayed movement just came, it was as though it was waiting for us. One of our bike met with an accident, and with no fault of theirs, a father was teaching his son how to drive a car on the Highway. The son had taken a very blind U turn on the highway with out any notice and colided with our biker.
So we took them back to Mysore's hospital, the rider had hand fracture, the pillion has knee fracture. In total we were all shocked and out of words. Never in my long riding experiences I had come across any events like this. We had to stay in Mysore that day for moral situations. All our plans were washed out. We came back to Bangalore the next day with the two injured players.
In all, what ever we plan does not come right at times, even without our intutions. I just had these line roamin in my mind from past 2 days, "Man proposes, God Disposes".
