I had purchased a new Nokia E71 from Ezone, Koramangala, Bangalore on 23rd of Sept, 2008. And the whole last week I have spent time on understanding all the feature of this cool instrument.


And finally on 29th exactly a week later, my phone went dead. It does not switch on at all. And obviously I had been to Nokia Customer care next to Forum in Koramangala, Bangalore to have it checked. And you wont believe the reasons the customer care people gave me. They say there is a software problem and my phone shall on switch on. And they are sending the same to their head office and I shall get the phone back after 15 days.


Sincerly, If you spend 20183/- Rs. on a new phone and it crashes in 1 week, where is the realiability of the Brand?


And these are the lines which Customer care people gave me" Sir, Its an electronic device, these things keep happening", "we will send it to our head office and try to get your phone back by 15days" "See sir, that is why we give warranty"


Why does any brand give warranty of their products if they themselves are not sure on what they are selling?And if we give our phones for repair, in my case, with no fault of mine, shouldnt they give a stand by. The CC office says " Sir, we dont have such kind of policies"


And in between there is an other guy with a New E71, 10 days old phone. And has the same problem. And that guy went bonkers when the same was told to him.


So I am not sure what to do now? If any one has a solution as to, to whom I should write or what to do, please feel free to let me know.
