The mileage figures are as per ARAI test conditions and not actual driving conditions. For diesel 13.5 mileage is fine. All depends on use of AC, driving conditions, road conditions and modifications done to car. Ford is cheating Indians in vehicle delivery. Due to increase in dollar price the eco...sport models produced in India are exported and Indians have to wait for months together. You are getting the right mileage. With service mileage may improve up to 1-1.5 km. Mileage also depends on the road and how you drive. Mileage drops with high speed driving, A/C use, fast braking, use of larger tires than recommended and too much clutch use. ARAI mileage is in ideal test conditions... and does not represent true driving conditions.Read More

Petrol mileage will be poor. May be 9-10 KMPL in city. Diesel around 14.5-15 KMLP overall.

Honda city 2012 with updated looks and features appears good. Ground clearance is increased to 165mm from 160mm. I have a feeling it might compromise the looks of the car. However the reduced prices and better ground clearance will attract more buyers.

Thanks for an elaborate review. I was also planning to buy Etios. Now I will rethink on this. I agree with you, sedan cars have to be comfortable and less cabin noise. As Toyota wanted to capture larger Indian market quality was compromised. When Etios launched there were 12000 bookings. I hardly se...e any Etios on Mangalore roads. I guess many bookings were cancelled after they saw the car. Every car manufacturer in India fail to provide European quality standards car in the name of cost cutting. I am surprised by the transaction error, as the credit card transactions are secure (with VISA). I had good experiences with makemytrip. Generally it takes 10 days for refunds. If you have proper documents to prove that your phone is not repaired or replaced for 2 months, I think its ideal to sue the company. In country like India Judicial process takes time plus the compensation is peanuts. Thats why companies just get away with poor service and no accountability.
