Using this model for past more than 1 year, I agree completely with your views on this model. The signal reception on this handset is indeed one of the best. Having used a Sony Ericsson previously, I observed the difference in reception quality of the two brands. Nokia indeed rocks....

Hi friends, How can I be out of this debate!!! Well I own a Pulsar 150 DTS-I. Purchased it mainly by getting attracted to its good mileage, and lower maintainance cost. However, in terms of looks, all Pulsar or Unicorn owners will agree that CBZ is the best. Specifically, the new CBZ star, with du...al color combination of Silver and red according to me looks amazing. Whenever I see a CBZ star passing by, I get an inner feeling, would have purchased it rather than Pulsar. Besides, Hero Honda's after sales-service is much better than Bajaj's. Pulsar is currently having an edge over CBZ in terms of sales just because it is offering better financial options, is more aggressively marketed (Hero Honda is very busy with its 100 cc bikes like splendor and passion, and seems to have no time to promote CBZ) and is overall cheaper in price than CBZ. Pulsar 150 DTS-i with all those mag wheels and other accessories is just around approx. Rs. 58,000, whereas new CBZ star is close to Rs. 66,000. Regards, Digant.Read More

Agree with those on Santro Xing side. Santro Xing's aircon is cool, doesn't lose much power when switched on. Besides, the quality of interior in Santro is better than its competitors. I don't know whether the problem still persists in current model of wagonR, but in the past, I had heard many peo...ple complaining about its gear box. In terms of Fuel efficiency, both the cars are head to head, WagonR may be a bit better. However, as such both the cars are up to the mark, and any of them could be purchased without regrets. Now that you are using T610, how would you compare the two phones? Which one is better?

Fantastic review. Afterall, why to settle for something else, when you can have the No. 1 brand(Nokia) just for a few bucks more ... Your review is indeed an eye opener for people. I had realized the fact that no brand can near Nokia in terms of perfectness and robustness, a couple of months back wh...en I had purchased Sony Eri. T630, and had to sell it off after using it for 15 days, due to its malfunctioning joy-stick, poor signal management and a few other problems. However, I am now happy with my Nokia. The fact that this phone comes bundled with mere 7 MB internal memory, without any way to expand it is a big low down. Inability of the phone to play mp3 ringtones is yet another blow...I think Nokia rocks.

I own a Pulsar DTS-i, 150 CC KS. Drove around 6,500 kms. very cautiously (no rough driving, single hand use, regularly serviced) , but still its output shaft broke. The company people refused to get it under warranty!! Had to open the engine and bear an expense of Rs. 1,450 to get it repaired. Howev...er, I do agree that the spare-parts for this bike are cheap. O/p shaft costed Rs. 400., whereas the same spare for CBZ or Fiero was for Rs. 700. -DigantRead More

The older model of Zen was perhaps the best looking hatch around. Any modifications made to its looks especially wider tyres, alloy wheels, bumper spoilers, sporty stickers on doors etc.., really added to its asthetic appeal. However, personally I feel the newer model of Zen is not as appealing as i...ts older counterpart. Regards, Digant.Read More

Decrease in the price tag of a car is very common nowadays with all brands, and is not Hyundai specific... Maruti for instance always prices it's models like Zen, WagonR and Swift cheaper than those of Hyundai's Santro and Getz respectively, mainly due to the cut-throat competition amongst the two ...... -Digant.Read More

The problem mentioned by you in your review exists in my Santro Xing as well. It was present even in the car I had test driven prior to purchase. However, the problem persists only as long as the engine is cold. After driving about 5-10 kms., after a cold start, the problem disappears. -Digant.

Was a nice detailed comparison!! But, do I smell Maruti Loyalty here... Not contradicting your review, but, talking commercially, the current sales figures show that Santro Xing has outperformed Zen and WagonR. The sales of Santro Xing in India exceeds the combined sales of Zen and WagonR. -Digan...t.Read More

Nice review there. But, the camera on this phone is merely 0.1 megapixel, CIF (not VGA) type. Besides being slow in responding, this phone also suffers from poor signal reception problem, as compared to any other phone from Nokia. Regards, Digant.

Not all can afford to pay a bomb for a bulky and heavy phone like 6600. Nokia 6610i is a true value for money. viz. 6610i is approx. half the price of 6600. Still, it manages to be sleek and light weight than 6600. Samsung has been continuously loosing in market share to Nokia since last one year.... And, by the way, which Samsung model is coming in price range of 6610i, & is better than it? Regards, Digant.Read More

Agreed that 3310 is bulkier than 1100. But, 3310 has a far superior signal reception than 1100. I had opportunities to compare these two phones on the same network side-by-side, in an area with a poor signal, where 3310 user was conversing past 5 minutes, and 1100 was finding it difficult to hold a ...signal.Read More
