Guys, if you have brought the plan from a citibank advisor, then please be advised that this is a fraud withdraw immediately instead of losing 40% on a yearly basis.

Birla sunlife is a fraud - especially if approached by citibank guys.
See my review and experience after a year. It is not 18% charge, it is 40% charge on a yearly basis.

And if any birla guys are reading this comment please know that in this age of online networking, where people can netowk with a lakh (100 thousand) of people in a matter of hours, birla sunlife will be dead within a few months if you dont take care of this right ...now. By partnering with citibank you have invested in a swarm of people who will work against you even you show calculations that the returns are higher and that the charges of citibank are valid. Being legal is one thing and playing with future emotions / money of people is another. I myself am sending out personal mails to 30 of my collegues and past collegues. Do you know if these guys send out personal mails to another 20 & another 20, what will happen? Do your calculations... No one in india will buy Birla products. Work quick and fast and save your ass. I will even cc Aditya Birla if i get his email. Clarifying in media will not help later. You guys have conned even media reporters.Read More

Exactly, this information is for people who are interested in others experience so that they do their research. I am not going to recommend the company even if not their direct fault but more of citibank’s advisor. Infact i would definitely recommend against it - even if it is not their direct fault.... Please be aware that lot of people are dissatisfied with the product and will work against the company because they are not in profit even if they show that you have beaten expectations.
Birla sunlife & citibank are a useless combination. They dont take care of their customers. Collect money by doing a fraud and then show financial gains in markets can be done by any cheat.

Yes, if you want to buy Insurance, always buy term insurance for just one year and get coverage for 50lacks, with the same premium and getting coverage for 10 lacks for a period of 50 yrs. Thats more profitable. You can renew it the next year. You will always know that you are not dead by the end of... the year, and then you can reinvest. With money always keep a term vision - Simple advise. Also, investing a lot in long term insurance, subconsciously, is like investing in your death as soon as possible.
A MF is more beneficial any time than a long term plan. Unfortunately thats what i learnt from my investements in 3 years. And now i have so much of insurance coverage and no savings. The birla sunlife-citibank citibank advisors are cheats anyways.Read More
