They promised us possession in one year, but it has been four years and there has been no signs of possession! The customer service department is there for no reason because they are surely not helping us!

You do not get the freedom to design your house the way you want here. They will ask you for the designs of everything right from the furniture to the paintings that you want to put on the wall and you have to get their approval first, which is so not fair.

They told us to see their approvals and licenses on the website but when we visited the website, there were no approvals and licenses there.

They have a name for taking money and eloping with it so be careful when you are dealing with them or do not deal with them at all.

The delay in the possession was further accompanied with unfair demands at the time of possession and this has caused us to never trust this builders again.

Boss of Builders - Unitech - Kolkata-

One of the biggest builders in India is Unitech - Kolkata. It has several branches all around India. It is involved in some big projects all around India, diffrent metropolitan cities like Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Chennai, Mumbai are among others. In Kolkata among different locations the main office is in New Town near Rajarhat. With wide open space it has built different office building in Sector 5. Sector 5 is IT hub in Kolkata near Bidhan Nagar corporation. There are numerous engineers working and showing their effectiveness in this company. The parking area, office space, flats are designed well. The customer services and their staffs are very much cordial. Their 24 hours helping service is just awesome.All constructions built with the help of modern technology so their is no complain from people. After visiting the area I really recommend my friends to try to get a space in Unitech.

Handover promised in 2011. Till now its lying barren. we r filing against them in kolkata. interested people are welcome to join us. we have almost 70 people grouped up together in kolkata for the filing. people of the city, scattered all over the world, have joined us. people whom we have missed out, still getting nothing, are welcome to join us.

I took the possession of my flat in Nov 2010, after delay of three years. But quality of the delivered flat is horrible. In next rainy season only i.e. Jun 2011, flat was full of damp and leakage. After sending several emails and reminders, their is no response from Unitech.

So please be aware of the quality of the flat delivered and after sales service. Please consider your decision before you go with UNITECH BRAND !!!

Unlike expected from a reputed builder the results had been like dealing with a local builders.

Recently got a notice that they have increased super build up area and I would have to pay 4.5 lacs more than what was agreed 4 years back while the sale was made! All this without even notifying what changed, when was this planned. Forget about taking consent about the changes; it's just thrust upon you.

Usual project delays, no clarity about any plans, charges or responses to queries.

It might be acceptable from a local builder given the conditions in real estate business, but not from Unitech after paying 3 times the price you get from other builders!
