I first booked a 2 bedroom flat at Phase 2 of King’s Hut-I Rajarhat, Pin - 700135 with RNB Industries Ltd.( CENTRAL PLAZA BUILDING, 5th Floor, Sarat Bose Road, Kolkata- 20, Minto Park, Kolkata in May 2014. One of their employees, Swapnadip Sarkar worked with us to complete the booking. We were expected to get the possession of our flat in 3 years. We had paid the installments per the agreed payment schedule and paid up to INR 8 Lacs. In March 2015, Swapnadip Sarkar from RNB approached us to buy one their vacant units in the phase 1. He said the progress of phase 2 has slowed down due to internal company and legal matters. Hence, it is advisable and favorable for us to buy the suggested unit in phase 1. They sold us the entire deal saying that we would get the procession of this phase 1 unit by June 2015. When we saw this unit in person, we realized that it requires a lot of construction work & repairs before it can be handed over to us. We visited their office at Minto Park to understand their plan to complete the construction of this unit. After completing the necessary legal work and review process, we agreed to change our booking to this unit in phase 1. This unit was in the name of Suryamukhi General Finance & Investment Company (India) Limited (46D, Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Rd, Satyam Building 6th floor, Park street, Kolkata- 700016) . Hence we signed the sale agreement between Suryamukhi General Finance & Investment Company (India) Limited , developer Ria Enterprise (95, Goswami Para Rd, Bally, Howrah - 711201) and RNB Industries Ltd. This new agreement showed the payments made by us toward the phase 2 unit and they had been transferred over to phase 1 unit. As per the new payment schedule, we paid 17 lakhs more toward the phase 1 unit. We paid approx. INR 26 lacs toward this unit till date. We didn’t get the procession on the promised date and have failed to hear back from the developers in months. After months of our failed attempts to contact them, we decided to file a case in the Kolkata consumer court in Novemeber 2015. As per the court procedure, multiple summons and court orders had been sent to their offices but they never showed up in any court hearing nor did they receive the important summons/orders. We are in the process of filing criminal cases against all involved parties . What they don’t understand is that they can’t get away by stealing the hard-earned money of common man. I won’t rest until I get them behind bars and get our hard-earned money back. We are not the only one who suffered at their hands. They are multiple families going through the same trouble for months and years. We also plan to file a class suit against them soon. Please DO NOT buy any property from them nor make any investments with them. These guys are scammers
