They indicated they are big developers in Dubai and build to international standards. And they have 3 projects in Cochin.
They threw out some big names who were buying their flats so immediately I was not interested but my wife decided to buy one. I did not object as they kept saying how long they have been an international company and they charge more because they build to international standards. Well their original time line was delayed by more than 2.5 years.
And we were told its 99% complete so pay up and take your flat. So we did. After all only 1% left to do. Even if no water or power connection at the time. Now After more than an year we have water and power we should have had those when we moved in, instead of having to wait for so long.
Now the international standards come in. One of the elevators developed some minor technical problems where the doors will slam shut. After complaining to 5 people over an year, it has still not been fixed. They have never cleaned the elevators either so it is filled with what ever all over the panels as people just wipe their dirt over the walls. They decided to lock off roof access so owners have no access to roof areas.
And their workers have taken over like the sauna, game room, association room and parts of the gym, so we cant actually use anything on the ground floor as there is nothing to even sit on and we cant use the roof as that's all locked up. So if you plan to buy a flat here, you will be stuck to inside your own flat and no where else on the property.

Some people have monopolized the common areas so there are shoes and cupboards all over the corridors, they were even leaving their papers, water bottles and gas cylinders around but I got really angry about such dangerous behaviors and we complained about it but they do nothing.
Although the building was built by a contractor who have built a lot of flats, any work done by the group itself is of such low quality it is laughable. They hire such cheap workers that the guy who welded the window grills destroyed the tiles with their droppings. The painters just put heavy coat of paint to hide water damages so in less than an year the paint is chipping inside. Since they wont even do minor maintenance or repairs, telling them about fixing damages is pointless.
I wanted to move 6 months ago after I got urinated on by one of their workers but now they have demolished the swimming pool because ground water from lower levels rise up into the higher level swimming pool. Maybe Moses has parted the waves on that one because water does not rise from a lower level to a higher level especially through concrete, but that's the reason they gave so you know their level of knowledge and experience.
I am waiting for them to make it look decent so I can sell and take my loss and move. The only time I showed it, the people looked at the dirty elevator and the corridors and they were not even interested in discussing things further because they can find cheaper and better flats elsewhere. Now some others have started modifying their terrace areas into their own version of extra rooms and such so soon this will be a free for all with everyone doing their own thing.
Now this is Holidays international standards. Actually off the dozens of countries I have lived in and the couple of dozen flats I have been in, this is absolutely the worst experience by far. I know builders and promoters in India are different and will say anything to sell and there is no customer service but this group has a real chip on their shoulders in thinking they can treat people who have given them money like this. Even knowing before hand what this would be like never prepared me for this experience. As this is pretty low standards even for India. International company indeed.
Others like Galaxy and Star homes that charge half as much have a better environment and a far better experience. Just know you have no privacy and no usable area in the building outside of your flat itself and for some people that is not a problem but those of us used to some experiences, we would find it difficult to live in such a restricted place where owners are treated as an annoyance.
