Bought a flat of Godrej to resell and have been stuck as Godrej has not paid the dues to registrar hence all property owners cannot sell as registrar will not register. It was not expected from a company like Godrej but extremely disappointed and stuck with the flat.

Let me start with this, there a HOA in this society (where everyone is probably retired and has the most regressive thought process) who feel that they are the law makers of this land. And of-course every "law" they make suits their old age, jobless life.

Like great, just let tenants know when they come to ask for rent that we only accept people over 60. Do Not enforce your ridiculous bye laws once the move in has happened. They recently forced all "Bachelor Students" to get out of the society and I really prayed some owner throws a legal case on the HOA.

Also, you may feel like living in chawls when even after a default of 1 day in electricity payment, the electricity fuse for your house will be pulled out. And you pay a penalty too.

Coming from a tenant here, so I can't even imagine if you are planning to buy.

  You won't find daily neccessities(medicines/ eateries/ anything). Vegetable vendor comes twice a week with limited and 1.5-2X priced veggies. There is one vendor for water can who is permitted inside and he is someone you will never want to meet again in life.

-The gym seems like it has not been cleaned since it's construction. You will feel like vomiting when you enter. And these guys don't switch on the AC there.

• The rules in the society have been laid down by morons. You can't walk after 10 p.m, you can't move-in/out on Sunday's and post 6 p.m. You can't get any maintenance work done on sundays.

-And in most of the houses the residents are bachelors from nearby colleges so you will always have bang on music or weird noises from above your flat at the most unconvienient timings.

-And well, there is a broker here who is the most conny person you will meet.

There are many developers which are seen snatch the public's money by charging and quoting extra money for many of the sophisticated terms like “Dedicated Parking”. It is against the general norms and rules that the buyers should not be charged for this and the rules have been laid down by the High Court.

We have no idea whether the property on which the land is going to be made is agricultural or residental and we do not want to get involved in something like this.

The high maintenance fee here is simply not done because no one maintains the amenities and facilities that are avilable here! The swimming pool is dirty! The equipments in the gy do not work as well!

Every year, it is seen that the buyer is ought to experience Rs.50-100 psqft price change and this has been increasing every alternate week on the infrastructure fees. This should not be the case and should change for the benefits of the customers.

We have been stuck in a horrible situation of delayed possession and we feel stressed and worried for no fault of ours! My family and I have been through such a traumatic time because of these builders and their lack of commitment to a project after taking away our hard-earned money!

I am an investor of Godrej properties at Chennai. I am extremely disappointed and disillusioned with Godrej properties, they have completely betrayed the trust we had in them when we invested in our dream home. It is already 5 months past committed delivery date and we have paid 100% of payment, we have not even entered our apartment to take a look at it until now. The customer service personnel for the site are totally apathetic and do not care about providing service, they have an extremely rude attitude and biased behavior. There is no use of escalating because Godrej Mumbai doesn't care about their brand or anything.

They behave like professionals while collecting money and specifying rules, but totally forget that they have totally betrayed the people by not delivering on time like any small time unprofessional builder.we could have booked almost any other place but repenting now

This message is for somebody who is planning to buy apartment in Godrej Palm Grove, poonamalee, Chennai. I bought an 3bhk in Godrej Palm Grove.

Unfortunately it's big loss. Committed date of handover was Sep-2014 and no news on handover till Sep - 2015, Complete money was collected by Dec 2013 itself.

Thee worst Staff to get your queries answered, 2 set of people already changed but their false commitments didn't change. At one point when I insisted for update, they told me the delay is per agreement and I can try legal. Understood from L&T that a huge amount is due to them and handover is not possible in the near future even for the units which started in 2012. So please think twice before getting into venture with Godrej. Please share if you have any other experience.
