Hello dear! You said k10 is the first hatch back with DOHC, I think i10 with kappa engine is the first hatch back with DOHC engine. Of course the engine capacity is 1.2 ltr.

Dear Somnat, I guess regarding the service and the gold coin offer which is given in the news paper as well as aired on TV, you should get in touch with the GM officials directly. You can also approach the consumer court if you feel so. As far as the mileage is concerned you should expect between 13...-14 kmpl with AC on in city. Usage of clutch should be minimum, sudden acceleration must be avoided, whenever possible use 5th gear above 40kmph. Try these steps and see if there is a difference. Good Luck.Read More

Mr Ranjan but Alto is a 800cc car against 1000cc Spark. Hence mileage of Spark will always be lower than alto. Nonetheless I can tell u that this is a good bargain. Congrats.

I am already in tears while going through your review. I have a 1997 model 800 with me, though I bought chevrolet spark last year, I didn't dispose my 800. I brought both my kids home from hospital after they were born by our 800. I may dispose spark after a few years for may be another... model , but my 800 will probably remain with me foreever. It is testimony to my life's ups and downs, many memorable moments. It is in fact my third child, who I can vouch will remain faithfull throught my life.Read More

Review is fine, to the point and clear. I guess it is quite similar to mine. I had the same very notion while going for this car. Nobody believed me when I was recommending this to our family friends. I made a detailed research about all cars before selecting spark. First of all I would request you to visit a mental asylum, may be after that we can discuss about the pros and cons of this beauty.
I have been using this car for the last one and half year and have clocked more than 4000 kms without an iota of trouble. If that is not proof enough of ...its quality than what is it? This car gives you the driving pleasure of a big car.

You havn't mentioned spark in your review. I feel it is as peppy as i10, and costs much lesser. The feature of spark in the given price band is incomparable. I own one and am fully satisfied with it.

I bought spark in Nov’08, and have covered around 2000kms. This car definately scores over others in its category. Only hitch if I ...am to mention would be the vision in front of the driver. The A - pillars of the car blocks vision to some extent. But then one gets used to this with time. My advice would b to go for test drive. Rubbish, dear sunil my advice to u is read newspapers regularly. GM India has got nothing to do with what's happening in the US. Anyways I own the spark LS model, bought last year, and am proud to have made that decision.

Hi all this is Roy Frm Chandigarh, even I had a difficult time with their dealer. But as far as the car goes must say it's worth a bit of pain taking rather than end up buying something inferior. But one must be a hard bargainer while negotiating the price.

Well, I do have the LS model with me, purchased in Nov'08. This streching thing like arms to hold the steering, I don't agree with. And also the driving is absolutely a pleasure. With 64 bhp power output overtaking is going to be effortless. Moreover it should be compared with santro, zen estilo, wa...gon-R, A-star and i10 ( Era ). The kind of feature Spark offers, I don't think any other competitor offers in it's catagory. My take would be to go for this one, as it best qualifies for value for money slogan.Read More

Dear Mr Amit don't dishearten urself , and just go for it. Rightly said by hari that service is always going 2 b an issue in India. Also may I suggest u to have a look at Spark in case u haven't yet bought any car as yet. Take a test drive.

Sorry for late reply, The actual on road price is 3.10 lac, Price of cars in north India is almost 40 to 50 thousand lesser priced than south India.
