We own 2 i10 cars - 1 year old i10 Era and 3 months old i10 Kappa Magna(Champagne gold). Era is owned by my dad and I drive kappa magna. So primarily in this review I will be talking about i10 kappa.
I drive the car to my office everyday and its a pleasure to drive. And mind you I drive in peak hour traffic condition in a city like Chennai.
Mileage - Before my first servicing, it was giving me around 13 km/l with ac in city driving whereas after servicing it has improved to 14-14.5 which I feel is fairly decent. I will give it a score of 8/10.
Gearbox - The gearbox is very conveniently spaced and shifting gears has never been so easy. That was the first thing that attracted me to i10, veryyyy smooth gearshifts. I haven't seen it in any other car of its genre. 10/10 for that one.
Engine noise/Ride - This elegant lady moves around with hardly any noise. 9/10 on that. Fairly smooth ride on its tubeless tyres.
Pickup - Well, the pickup is fine. Nothing too great but nothing to complain also. But yes, I found a noticeable difference in the power of era and magna. But its in their specs as well so expected - magna has higher horsepower than era thus the difference. 7/10
Interiors - Veryy charming interiors and gives the feel of a real luxury car. While buying Era last year, we had originally gone to buy Santro but after seeing i10 interiors we did not think twice and we have not lived to regret it! Rather, thats the reason when I had to buy another car, I stuck to i10. 11/10 for that.
Power Steering - Very good power steering, better than santro. And though I read that some people faced some problems with it, but so far we havent experienced any problems in either of our i10s.
Exterior Looks -Nice compact hatchback with good choice of colors. I was split between blushing red, oyster grey and Champagne gold. Finally chose gold. Some people do not like the shape of front lights but I am ok with it. 8/10.
Dealer Service - We bought both the cars from Himgiri Hyundai, Delhi and we had a good experience with them. I have brought my magna to Chennai now and got my first service done from Kun Hyundai - a good experience as well.
Space - Very good leg space both in front and rear seats. Average boot space. 9/10.
Comparison to Competitors - I checked out Santro, Swift, A-Star, Zen-Estillo before deciding on i10.
I felt i10 was the next generation of Santro with all its pros and minus its cons.
Swift is another car I really like and I have heard very good things about its power and pick up. But my main concern was that Swift-Petrol's average is too less. And Swift-diesel is too costly(5.25 lacs+). So it wasn't kind of value for money.
A-Star - The rear space and boot space were ridiculously less. Totally out once I sat in it though yes its average is more.
Zen- I did not like the shape. Besides, its a very average car with average features. Nothing to boast of, and maybe nothing to complain much. I wanted much more than that:)
Besides, the above, in terms of interior looks, i10 beats all the above hands down.

I am enjoying my ride with this baby, and would highly recommend it to anyone else.:)
