There is everything wrong about Dish TV. It must be understood that they are mostly the contents distributors.

Its strange to say the least. There is a tremendous amount of customers who are waiting for a reliable broadband connection. And there usage not only increase but also make others buy it. Earlier these companies used to complain that they are not getting licenses now that they have it they are makin...g the worst use of it. I remember how I paid 5,500 Rupees for the Airtel internet dial up card. It was a frustrating experience , the after sale service was a nightmare. So the consumer is helpless. You need a broadband mobile solution,. Good . Now if you dont like TATA, who will you turn to? Reliance. Don't expect them to be any better. The only thing these people compete in is providing the worse and worst service. If Tata is bad, Reliance is a proud worse and Airtel will be an even prouder WORST.
You see it in this light. You need a service. Gamble on it. Its a pity that these people are not seeing the mountains of money that they can make by providing better services, compared to ant moles that they are getting by selling those cards and monthly charges. One question: Okay you didn't like the service so you pay first month and disconnect. Not fair but fair enough. But what about the Rs. 3,500 that you spent on the card. What will you do with it. So its the double jeopardy. Ideally, they should be providing the card as part of the plan. Because its the part of a package. I am not sure if it is legal.
So my humble suggestion is that buy Reliance/ Airtel of Tata as a gamble. If it worked it is fine. If it didn' well it didn't. Do not buy anything in telecom as a dependable product or service. Dil Nahin Lagao ge to Dil Nahin Tootega mere Dost.Read More

Thank God I didn't get into this mess. I had called their helpline couple of times but no one turned up. This anyways reflected their commitment. I wonder how Reliance makes so much money with such a bad service in everything that they make?

Its really appalling to read your account. Tata , Airtel or MTNL, they are all birds of same feather. Without a proper outfit like BBB(Better business beauro) in USA, they can keep cheating people with impunity. Its surprising that they are refusing to refund you the advance payment, even if it is u...nder any scheme. You definitely have a chance at the consumer court. In fact I had made up my mind to buy their dish, but after reading your experience, I will not do it. Thanks for reporting the cheats. I hope you will get a little better service from Airtel. May be the 3G phones will be some improvement , and hope that they are not so expansive. In this country every citizen is an orphan. May be Ratan Tata should try and depend on their own WiMax. Dear Sidharth, Thanks for your comments. I am sure they are getting 50. But I check it more closely and I suspect that my driving in the thick and thins of Delhi, it may be stealing the remaining 5 KM.

There are similar products in market, try them out. One good thing about PUREIT Types is that they don't require electricity.

During my final year of graduation, my roommate invited his friend, a communist colunist and a part time doctor. They were discussing the role of a few men in business and their impact. My second job was that of a vaccuume cleaner salesman and while demonstrating my ' Jharroo' to one lady one fine afternoon, I saw the two books on her shelf at her home.
AS and FH.
She was friendly and as we spoke I requested her to lend me one of the books for a few days.
She asked me, which one?
And I said AS!
She thought she would rather that I read the FH first because AS, according to her, was a sequel.
But I was insistent and she accepted.
I read the book in two days. I was I think, 20 or 21 then. I enjoyed it immesely and marvelled at Ayn Ran_d's mind and vast grasp of understanding and the vision. I used to say as you did, ' I want to gain a lot of knowledge' and all that.
Its the result of her great influence and the reaction of seeing things from a new angle.
The first thing that struck me was that she has given words to my thought.
As if I wanted to say
' yes this is what I have meant all my life, and my reason for my actions, but I didnt have the words to say it. well here are the words, Ayn Ra_nd just said it'.
One of her favorite lines were something like
'In any conflict between the mind and heart follow the mind'.
Looks simple but as you explore it by doing it, its a very beautiful dictum.
