The price is good and the advert is better.

I purchased this water purifier a few months ago. It worked okay. And after two months or so the battery(Its not the cell battery, it is the kit that purifies the water) level showed up to change it. The helpline was called and after not less than 100 calls, someone turned up to change the battery.

WARNING:

Mind it, this battery-kit is NOT available in the market. You must call their service number to order one. And since they may take a few months, contact Bisleri to supply you water for a few months as the stop-gap arrangement.

So well we changed the battery and were advised that we must let pass the water through and through at least twice before the new battery will be ready and so we did. And on the third fill, the water that came out was whitish, thick and in fact very dense. It gave a pungent odor. It was like drinking from an old well, where the water was not recycled in the last 300 years.

So what we do? We call the helpline again and she wants to know the Customer ID number. Okay after a few minutes she agrees to track me down using my mobile number. Assurances follow. It will be done within 48 hours.max.

I wait for few more weeks and keep calling them, keep waiting for the elusive 48 hours. Someone turns up finally, he takes out all water, uses a paste kind of thing on the innards of the purifier. assembles and refills the water. Next advise, let the water run through twice before it can become drinkable. He goes, we wait, two through passes and back to square one.

This happened about a couple of months ago. Now since then we have been calling and they have been assuring.

I have an idea of getting the water tested at the govt lab. I think it is highly toxic. That is what its thick whitish and dense character suggests. And if it is, then God knows how many people are being poisoned by this company.

people get fooled by the Hindustan Levers logo. But My experience says that no one should buy this product and if you will, you will do it at the risk of yours and your family's life.

Avoid it like you would avoid drinking sewer water.
