I recently visited the Godrej Urban Park in Powai to view a resale property and wanted to share my honest review of it. Reaching the complex was only a big issue due to poor road conditions. I don’t know whether the construction was ongoing or what the reason was, but the roads were deplorable, and the potholes were numerous; as a result, it took me hours to reach the complex. The complex was good, offering great security and lifestyle amenities with spacious apartments. However, it was costly compared to other apartments in the area, which I visited on the same day. Additionally, the area is highly polluted due to ongoing construction in the vicinity. So, I didn’t like the complex and would not recommend it, but if you plan to visit, I suggest checking things properly.

I often visit Godrej RKS in Chembur to meet my best friend, who lives there, and I wanted to share my visiting experience to provide a genuine insight into this place. The complex offers modern design, high-end finishes, and a luxury living experience. However, my concern is the poor air quality of this place due to the industrial environment. My daughter falls ill every time we visit this area, which is like a warning sign for people who have small children. Additionally, a major issue arises during the monsoon season due to frequent waterlogging in the area, which disrupts travel. I wouldn’t recommend this poor place to live, especially when you have children.

This place is premium, so it's simple to say that you pay for the brand and the amenities; monthly maintenance and parking costs can sting. Because it’s a large society with many units and high-rise common areas, things like elevator wait times and upkeep pressure show up during peak hours. Though the central Byculla’s location is plus, it also comes with busy streets, so traffic and local congestion are daily realities, and not boutique-quiet living. If you’re price-sensitive or want a low-maintenance life, the running costs and scale might be more headache than benefit. Still a great product, but make sure your budget includes the long-term carrying costs.

I had been searching for a good residential apartment in Kandivali for a long time, so my friend informed me about an available apartment in Godrej Nest. I became thrilled and, with huge expectations, I went to see the property. As expected, the complex was well-designed and looked great. However, when I visited the apartment, I didn’t like the construction at all and felt that it was built with poor-quality materials, which means it did not justify the brand, so I decided to leave it.

I had been living in Godrej Urban Park, Powai, for almost a year, but I left due to a job change. The complex offers well-designed, spacious apartments, which you can decorate as you wish. Additionally, the complex offers great lifestyle amenities, including a swimming pool, gym, clubhouse, jogging track, yoga/meditation zone, and kids' play area, which significantly upgrade the living experience. Additionally, due to its prime location, it offers robust connectivity to all major areas of the city. Lastly, the one thing I liked the most about this complex was its security; it has installed CCTV even in the casual areas to make it super safe for residents. It is really one of the best residential complexes in the area so far. So, I highly recommend it.

Because of its scale and premium nature, even the 2 BHKs start at a very high price. While the greenery is a big draw, it is important to note that big green projects also come with more responsibility (upkeep, water, garden maintenance), so, not for someone who wants low fuss. Also, such a large community can feel less intimate; if you prefer a tight-knit society, this might feel too sprawling.

I’m writing my honest review on Godrej RKS, Chembur, which is truly a great property to live with family in Chembur. The complex is excellent, offering amenities like a swimming pool, gym, sports court, parks, a library, and a clubhouse. Additionally, situated in a prime location, it provides easy access to all the major areas of the city. The apartments are so spacious and well-constructed, offering great comfort for living. I had planned to buy the apartment where I was living, but due to relocation to another city, I couldn’t do it. I highly recommend that those moving to Chembur consider buying or renting a property in Godrej RKS to stay peacefully with their families.

I have been living in the Godrej Nest in Kandivali for six months and would love to share my genuine review on it. The complex is excellent, offering all the modern lifestyle amenities, including a swimming pool, a gym, a clubhouse, a sports court, and great CCTV surveillance. The apartments are also vast, compact, and spacious, which you would love living in. The residents are also beneficial and like family. So cooperative and helpful. My family is also enjoying themselves here. However, unfortunately, I have to leave the place in another six months due to my job shift. However, I highly recommend those who are planning to move to Kandiwali and are searching for a good family residential complex.

They just don't care about people. It's been 3 years and there is no single brick in the ground. They stopped construction without letting us know when we check after that they started other people know about no progress in construction. Pathetic experience. Our family and other so many families are just paying EMI's hence there is no progress. My father's dream house is become night mare for him. He and our other family members are just stressed how are we going to survive this. Don't please dont trust godrej.

Fraud and False Commitments by Godrej Properties and Their JV Partner


I booked a flat in the Godrej Celeste project Dec 2022 which is a joint venture between Godrej Properties and Shree Siddhi Infrabuildcon LLP ( SSILLP) . Due to delays and mismanagement, I applied for a refund in July. As per their own policy, the refund should have been given within 60 days, but even after the timeline, nothing has been processed.


I had taken a home loan of ₹; 13, 78, 000, and till now I have already paid ₹; 2, 55, 000 as interest and 14135 EMI/Month from 2023 Still, Godrej Properties is making excuses that their JV partner is not signing.


When I raised this with the team, instead of giving a solution, the customer care responded very rudely, saying “we are paying interest, isn’t that enough? ” Such behavior from a reputed brand is highly unprofessional.


Even Mr. Gaurav Pandey ( MD, Godrej Properties) has not given any response to my repeated complaints.


This is a clear case of fraud, false commitments, and harassment of customers. I request others to be very careful before investing in any Godrej Properties JV projects.

Bought the Godrej suites in 2019 and I am still waiting for the delivery. On basis of Application of OC, they took the 90% amount from the bank and that was in March 2023! Its been 2 and 1/2 years and I am still waiting for the flat to be delivered! God knows what is being done with the money that they received. This property was meant only for the people with truck loads of money. As a salaried person, I am stuck with paying the EMI to the bank, not being able to claim the Tax rebate and cherry on the cake - Godrej with no idea of when the project will delivered! I wonder how do such builders maintain their reputation in the market? And why does the bank give the loan when OC hasnt been received yet? Oh silly question - they done care. They are getting their money. Literally heard of people who are selling the houses at no profit all. Its just a syndicate between the builder and the bank and the common man suffer. But who cares!
