The pricing depends on the kind of restaurant and after looking at the menu it is up to the customer to decide if he wants to eat there or not. Can't quite agree with the statement regarding non availability of Parottas (or Barottas as pronounced in South Tamilnadu) as opposed to the North Indian Parantha). This tasty, flaky, maida based item is available in most restaurants serving South Indian food, from road side eateries to five star... hotels. They are often listed as Malabar Paratha in some places. Quite a while ago they were found only in non vegetarian places but they have made their way to the mneus of vegetarian restaurants as well.They are also available in shops as a heat and eat dish.Read More

Good write up and very useful advice. I have just one tip to add --- If you are using your credit card on the net, get yourself one with a reasonably low limit. Or use a virtual card.

Thriller which defies logic

As Tamil movies go, it is a cut above the usual. Unfortunately what could have been a terrific suspense movie gets diluted by the need for commercial success. parts like the stupid comedy track could have been drastically cut.

I am surprised you got the room for Rs 8000 ! May be its the present crisis and consequent cancellations. Last December the quoted Rs 20,000 to 15,000......and the food at the seafood restaurant wasn't worth anywhere near the price ...
