If you are looking for options in Anna Nagar for oriental food, you can head to The Cascade. It is a cozy restaurant in Anna Nagar West, right above the Arun Ice-creams outlet and there are chances you might not notice it if you do not know that the restaurant exists.
The ambiance of the restaurant is the most notable feature. The decor and the various decorative pieces are extremely appealing. There is even a waterfall-like structure, which the kids and adults alike find interesting. The furniture is quite comfortable and aesthetic, the potted plants at the corners increasing the appeal.
The lights are very soothing to the eyes and give the restaurant a pleasing feel. I wouldn’t say the same about the staff though, who seem to be quite moody and smile only if it’s extremely necessary which is rare.
