This phone, which I have been using for the last nine months, is oftencalled a I Phone wannabe, which is a unfair comparison; the I phone isa phone while this one is a pocket PC Phone with all the advantages ofwindow mobile, like office and outlook, which synchronises very wellwith your desktop, a feature that is very useful for managing yourcontacts and calendar.
The sound and camera are not fantastic but no complaints when yourealise this is not a MP 3 player or full fledged camera , but a pcphone that incorporates some of these features.
In other words, think of the HTCTouch as a pocket PC phone with someadditional features, which alows you to send e mails and browse thenet, with the limitation of its small screen.
There are a couple of problems; for tne thing the battery has to becharged every day and you can't mutitask. The touch screen willfreeze if there is more than a small amount of moisture on it. Insummer, if you perspire, this can be a serious problem and maysometimes involve changing the screen.
The touch flo to take time to load on occasion. The after sales service can be a mixed bag; while RT Outsourcing inChennai, offer excellent service for HTC products, the other one inChennai, Iconet will try to get you to pay even dutring the warrantyperiod..
