I was about 12 when I first wrote the review... and I didn't even know what a review meant... after 3 yrs when I read this review, i edited it a bit.
I have been honest about my observation.
Anyways, I don't blame you if you were referring to my earlier review... it was horrendous!

I LOVE Armaan. Don't you think Apurva's acting has improved a LOT during these days? and ythat Purab monkey... can't even act... why is he back??? He was not even there in the original story.

I do not agree either. I agree that amit is a good singer, very talented infact but Abhjit's voice quality is definitely better. One thing that is comepletely over my head is why do you think the country voted for Abhijit because he is better looking? Why? If that was the case then the winner would ...have been Prajakta. In that case, Priyanka (stunningly beautiful) would have gotten more votes than rahul saxena in the piano rounds.
And you think only maharashtra supported for abhijit? I am from jharkhand ( Amit is studying in Jharkhand - jamshedpur) and all the local newspapers were promoting him and treating abhijit like dirt... you know, his father works for SAIL and he sent a special msg to ALL the workers of SAIL (in Bhilai, Ranchi, Bokaro) to vote for his son. Come on, there is no harm in promoting local boy.
These TV serials have made the audience think that all the 'no-so-good looking' ppl have struggled a lot while ppl who are better looking are good for nothings!!!Read More

Well, i supported abhijit and I am glad that he won. I think he deserved the title completely... maybe his classical touch is not as good as amit's but can you beat his soothing voice? Nope, some of his best performances have been : tadap Tadap, Ab tumhare hawale watan saathiyon, tu Mile.
Anyway...s, Amit is also a very talented singer and dont worry he is famous already, i am sure hw will get offers.

Gosh! I cried too when Rahul got out... the way he looked, a lost child. I loved his voice and his cute smile but my family hated him, found him overconfident. But when it comes to talent i think the most talented should win.

I love the show. I got attracted to the show only because of the amazing storyline only to find that jjkn is hindi version of the spanish serial 'Yo soy betty la fea' which topped the charts across 25 countries. Ysblf was of course better than jjkn without the unnecessary masala and all
recently,... i am bowled over by apurva's performance... this guy is too good!
btw, enjoy the serial this month because after that PURAB is coming back to ruin it... :(Read More

Hehe! the strong reaction regarding Khoon bhari maang coz I watched the movie a few days ago! Lets not assume anything about the charcter 'Purab'. he was never there in the original story. The writers had to get back to the original, so they had to do something with the charcter purab. But Samir Son...i felt that it was unfair so he left the serial... You must have noticed some recycled scenes of Purab during his departure, even someone else dubbed for him.

It has never been shown that Purab backed out for Jassi's happiness with Armaan. If that was the reason for his breaking his e...ngagement just a day before his engagement - he already knew that jassi loved Armaan!!! The creep read her personal diary (and he wasn't even that close to her then!!). He was just brainwashed by his ex-girlfriend Meenaxi and left jassi coz of 'class difference'. LOSER!!
According to the original serial - 'Yo soy Betty la Fea' - jassi does not take revenge from Armaan by going through makeover. she transforms only coz she wanted to. The revenge part is making Armaan jealous of Nandu and giving him a hard time. So makeover for making hubby realise his love does not apply here. Armaan will fall in love with Jassi before her makeover, common, that's the essence of the show!!! That sets it apart from othe films. (Khoon bhari maang??? Armaan is not THAT bad!!! )
When did Deepti Naval enter JJKN??? Do you mean Anuradha Patel ( Vasundhara)???
Overall, a very well written review. I agree with the rest of your points!!

Hi sujata, i liked ur revu very much...
You wont believe i i was a jassi-fan, but of late they are projecting the character very badly. Jassi is acting like a superwoman.
Actual story was 'yo soy betty la fea' a spanish serial.... it was fabulous, though a bit unnatural (exaggerated look ...of betty) even then it was very entertaing. It was a love story and betty was projected as a very vulnerable and innocent woman.
it is really sad that jassi is diverting from the original script just to adapt itself to the indian mindset.... they completely butchered the story.

choices were really good. But Jassi? It was really good at first, as it was copying a spanish serial completely but since they diverted i am having doubts! BUt definitely not among the worst five.... u forgot des mein nikla hoga chand.... ugh! ugh!

Well, the actual story was very nice. The makers have changed the story to a great extent and i doubt whether they would be able to come bzck to the original plot.

I loved the diary of anne frank... but i strongly recommend 'the child of holocaust' by Jack Kuper. Its a beautiful celebration of a child's will to survive. A beautiful book, i think it is better than the diary of anne frank.
