PKOLANU's 'review' is defintely biased- the scriptwriter joins the forum and writes the review the same day. Appears to be a pre-edited 'script' ! I have not used MapMyIndia, however, I have been using Satguide (Destinator-7) in my mobile for a couple of years. The User interface is terribly clunk...y and amongst its more serious shortcomings, it does'nt give an easy-to-use option of planning a route. That's one of the reasons why I'm hesitating to go for a map upgrade.Read More

Is this a review or a product endorsement? So the Preethi Mixer is the PERFECT MACHINE that there is!! We would prefer an unbiased review please!

The main review reads more like the brochure. Nagaraj's comments are more useful than the review itself!

A useful review & somewhat surprising that Philips India are marketing shoddy products - bound to bring down their brand value

It’s unfortunate but true – the show producers are unfeeling and feeding the typical Indian stereotyped image. That overrated village idiot - Amitabh Bacchan - is busy laughing all the way to the bank while the show promotes such outdated and moronic level humour. Its high time the entertainment ind...ustry take it on themselves to deal with such topics in an appropriate and level-headed manner. If we need to sensitise our society and bring ourselves on par with international norms in dealing with such issues, our blessed entertainment industry and its mascot – the towering Mr Bacchan – need to behave responsibly and take the lead.Read More

I agree with Chandagohrani - even I have seen a bunch of drivers at the airport exit trying to herd prospective passengers into their vehicles; Vermin I suggest you review your comments after trying a pick-up from your home to the airport!

Great review there !! And it appears you have transformed the Vista into a 'hot' hatch !! Just a few points - I believe the Vista has a FIXED vane (and not variable vane) turbocharger. How much does the Dragon tuning kit cost? Does it effect the life of the engine? How about warranty? can you ...'unplug' the box without any trace before the servicing? Read More

I second that – the point has been explained extremely well. Maybe there is also another way at looking the whole issue – as follows:- a) Say the difference in the initial price is Rs 80,000/-. b) To recover difference in the initial amount, the diesel car would need to run about 47,048 kms (@ d...ifference of Rs 1.7/- per km). c) If this total break-even ‘run’ distance is spread over, say 3 years (beyond which the other calendar or ‘ageing’ factor related maintenance issues start), it would amount to about 1,300 kms per month. d) If this total break-even distance was spread over 4-5 years, it would range from 980 to 784 kms per month. - When I mean calendar or ageing related maintenance issues, I assume that both petrol and diesel cars are likely to be equally effected. So, if an individual expects to keep a car for say 4-5 years (not an unreasonable assumption), the ‘break-even’ distance is exactly in the same range as calculated through the ‘depreciation’ method. e) The ‘experts’ ball-park of 1500 kms per month will then imply a break-even period of about 2.6 years – which is perhaps, an important requirement for corporate and fleet owners. Good Work, KVSKP!! Maybe I'll buy a diesel car yet again!Read More
