This is a film with a character that I can relate to very much. I have a sneaking suspicion that you would fall into the 'smug marrieds' category. Therefore, I can see how it would be hard for you to empathise with the lead in this film. I am certainly not saying that this is one of the greatest ...films ever made by any stretch, but I think it does what it sets out to do. It gives the average, 'mediocre' among society hope. I can tell you that when I first started reading your review, I was not inclined to give you a high rating. That whole story about a live chicken head is ridiculous. I have seen the picture that was circulated on the net, which I am sure is what you are referring to. However, even if the head wa...s found in someone's food, there is no possible way that it was live. It was deep fried and severed from the body. The version I read also stated that it was found in a box of chicken nuggets which would be much more credible. You did go on to give a very complete review of the restaurant, so I did give you a high rating. My suggestion would be to lose the whole chicken head bit and just focus on your experiences at KFC, not on silly internet rumors that can not be authenticated. AmyRead More

Favourite Books Of Childhood

This review really brought back memories for me. I have always had a love affair with books. I really enjoyed some of the ones you mentioned when I was a child especially Dr. Seus and the Nacy Drew stories. I also liked to read some other mysteries with a character named Trixie Belden. You did a very thorough job with this review. My only problem with it is that you tell people it is okay to leave their pets behind. I totally disagree with that. They are like children. You accept the responsible of their welfare when you get them. This responsibility isn't negated just becaus...e there is some type of emergency. It is even more important that you think of them at that time. They are NOT able to take care of themselves as you suggest. Maybe they were before they became domesticated, but that is not the case now. Please rethink this part of your advice. AmyRead More

She has a hard time sleeping due to the pain which only makes it worse, because as you say rest is crucial.
