What made me choose JIRS? The values & ideology adopted by the school which upholds our ancient religion - Sanatana Dharma, our traditions & diverse cultural values. The good level of discipline which is an important aspect of student life which helps children to become Wise, intellectual & conf...ident leaders in the society. The vegetarian diet which promotes health, immunity, which also contributes to in developing discrimination power. This helps children to become wise & knowledgeable. What were you looking for when you came to admit the child? A Clean & Serene atmosphere without much distraction, a school which has all the necessary facilities for excellent academics & extra curricular activities. A curriculum which teaches up to date technology & knowledge along with a subject on Moral Science & personality development which is missing in the modern curriculum. A caring, nurturing & protective environment where children feel homely and can settle down easily to begin their new future to achieve the best of their ability. An efficient School Management & a dedicated team of teachers who are highly knowledgeable, but also practices the values & virtues they teach and who are willing to teach & care the children with Love to develop qualitative future leaders for the society. Our first contact with JIRS was through the website. We were actually looking for a summer program for Tara to attend in Bangalore. However, the JIRS website content regarding the educational program was very impressive. We did not even know about the IGCSE until I went there to admit Tara. Also, ha...ving my brother Umesh contact the JIRS staff helped us with making the decision. The best part of JIRS, for us, was it was a boarding school with excellent extra curricular activities. When I came to admit Tara, I was really concerned with her safety. I was quite impressed with the security and strict enforcement of dorm policies. Overall, both me and my wife are very happy with JIRS. We are also greatful for the opportunity for Tara to experience an outstanding educational system, indian culture and become close with her grandmother, aunts, uncles and cousins. Thanks again for your support. --Prakash Read More

I have always wanted to write to you and thank you and the school for the fine upbringing...which in many cases parents cannot provide at home. My point is quite obvious from the way Neeraj handles himself in college and his achievements on the cultural front. Being the cultural secretary ...Read more

My memories of JIRS is incredible & suggest this school to all NRI's. I am from fresh grass And High Mountain tops, A place full of fresh watered rivers A place where animals are free to roam As if they where human. The monkeys swing from vine to vine, The cows graze in the jungle- like... fields. I am from rich spices And different flavors of food Fresh grown vegetables And hand picked fruits. I am from a place where everyone knows everyone. A place where the day is full of play The faces are always smiling And the eyes are always glistening. There?€™s laughter in the air There?€™s laughter everywhere. A place where you are never left alone You always have a friend. I am from a place where everyday is a sleep over And a place which is called a home away from home I am from a place where your teachers are your parents, Where your friends are your siblings I am from a place where there are no enemies. I am from a place where the night is just another day. A place where you never stop and just think, you just do. Snapped before I budded– Leaf-fall from the family tree I am from a place where dreams come true I am from these moments– I am from Jain International Nikita JoshiRead More

Thank you all for your comments, altho I don't agree with all of author's opinion, I can understand the concern, and this also offers me an ideal place to air my concerns as a new US member recently switched off from 'E'. I'd like to make clear straight away that all my opinions are original.... per...iod. my trust list consists of lots of those 'E' folks I previously trusted, but also MS people. My concerns are as follows: the lack of replies to my frequent emails to Fasil and older members here who have not redeemed thousands of points yet. Another concern is a fellow US member apparently not getting paid for her reviews and having her disgruntled profile immediately changed. Another american writer called this a scam and left. I am deeply confused, concerned, and do not feel comfortable writing any more until this mysterious point system gets explained to me and I stop seeing weird happenings in here. I hope I am wrong as I enjoy being here, but I have a feeling I will not be having my fears alleviated. I hope other US members are having a more satisfying experience in here. Do share, I am dying to know! Laurie Read More

All opinions respected here.. freedom of speech ranks high up there of course - we should never lose that basic right. But, the fact that this country is heading down a sure path straight to hell (who can deny it?) can we ever find a 'gray' area of the constitution vs. black and white? A modern da...y revision of the constitution if that is possible. I live in the city and am scared more than a little for myself and my kids. I feel I have little control over what they are exposed to. I am hoping that with the recent terrorist attacks and the undeniable message sent with those attacks, our country can learn from the mistakes of ignoring problems that need to be resolved before it is too late. This is more than I intended to say, but you get the idea.... thanks for your 'positive' message about a serious problem in America today..... LaurieRead More
