I am an avid reader, when it comes to fiction. And I have read a lot of books. Mostly I like thrillers, fast paced books. Here are my favorite authors. in my top10.

.

Jack Higgins_ Ilike all his books, specially those that feature two specific characters - Sean Dillon and Liam devlin. Of all his books tho, my favorites are Solo, The eagle has landed, The eagle has flown.

Clive Cussler - This guy writes fabulous books His books feature a hero Dirk Pitt, his friend Giordino, and their adventures as part of Numa.Admiral Sandecker is yet another memorable character as is Julius Perlmutter.

A.J.Quinnel - It was quite accidently that I came across this author. The book that hooked me was - The Man on Fire.An absolute must read this and also, blue ring.

Colin Forbes - The book that had me hooked to this author was the book - Stone Leopard. Thereafter I have read all his books except the latest. The books that I liked most were year of golden ape, stone leopard, Sisterhood. I like all the characters, mostly though Robert Newman, Marler, Tweed.

Dick Francis - All his novels are based with the racing background. But each tale has its own twist.Good reading.

Robin Cook - All books with the Medical background, medical spinechillers, of which the most memorable one is Coma.

John Grisham - His legal thrillers have been made into quite a few films. For me the favorite has been The Pelican Grief, time to kill.

Michael Crichton: More famous for Jurassic Park, he has written novels on diverse topics. My favorites are Timeline, Rising Sun.

Louis Lamour: I am a fan of the westerns too, And I feel thatno one says it better than Louis Lamour. He has written a lot of these westerns, and each story is different from the other. The Sackett series was a good one.

Ken Follet: The Book that got me hooked to this guy was the thriller Eye of the needle. After that I have read quite a lot of his books. The most recent being Code to Zero.

Other mentions would be Jeffrey Archer( Kane Aand Abel), Robert Ludlum(Bourne Identity, Acquitane Progression),
