Yes I agree. 1.5 ago I gave my car for service, they forgot to put the new oil seal in the engine block, which they charged me for in the bill!!!!! Luckily I checked the car before taking delivery and there was oil all over the engine. I complained to Maruti HQ. They even tried to persuade me not to... post my experience over email among the IT groups in the area. But I did. Then their senior management came to my house to apologize.Read More

Thanks for writing in. My review does say that use the site only to compare products. I do appreciate that. Thats why I say that once you are clear which one you want to buy, just approach an agent for the exact policy you need to buy. Take your case to Pehredaar on CNBC Aawaaz. Recently ICICI bank was fined heaviliy for using goons to collect dues. Dont let them go. This bank has become number 1 by compromising on service quality on all of its products and will definitely lose in the long run.

Thanks for pointing out this. Too bad you had to put up with this. Anyways, you must be living in a small town, because cablewallahs charge anywhere between 1000 to 2500 for a new connection for a rented place in a metro city. Also, the installation charge is normally non refundable. Plus you have t...o put up with the poor quality of transmission.
See, if you move every 2 years, and you choose a tata sky package according to your needs, you will still end up paying less to tata sky than to the cable guy if you add up the relocation/installation in a metro city.
I live in Hyderabad, and the sable operator association here have this clause that NO landlord will get a permanent connection installed in his house. The cable guy will install a new connection everytime the tenant changes!!!! Talk about unethical business practices! They make money on the installation charges!!!!Read More

Well, I guess you put up a review too quickly. In any case, thats your choice. Your case is a bit of misunderstanding, more so in case to Tata's customer service fault. If you would have waited till your installation and checked out the quality of transmission, you would have been satisfied. In any ...case, that is also your choice.
But one thing struck me though, why are you under the misconception that you have paid for the Dish antenna and hardware? Please understand that all hardware is the property of Tata Sky. The customer does not own anything except the Set Top box. Even the ViewCard is the property of Tata Sky.Read More
