Bollywood lovers were treated to 2 big movies this week - Khoobsurat and Daawat-E-Ishq. To be honest, I personally didn’t have too high expectations from Khoobsurat as it looked pretty run-of-the-mill and the music was not very appealing. But I somehow ended up watching Khoobsurat on Friday eve...Read more

Sports biopics are in. What began with the super duper ‘Chak De!’ to the more recent, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, the audiences have always taken to sports films with aplomb. In fact, the film ‘Mary Kom’ had already got tax exemptions in states like Maharashtra, prior to its release. What makes Mary Kom...Read more

It’s really hard to summarize the story line of Ek Villain because of 2 reasons – one, there is the risk of revealing the plot and two, because there is hardly any story! The story is about Guru, played by Siddharth Malhotra who has a violent past and wants to turn into a new leaf after meeting ...Read more

U're right..embrace wisdom! @chalojai, thanks for your comments. I too feel strongly about this, because I too tend to suffer from respiratory ailments due to the intense smoke and pollution caused due to firecrackers.
And for those who do it under the shelter of culture and ritualism, I think its... now time to break tradition and embrace wisdom!!!Read More

PRAYER IS EASY
Aug 11, 2011 06:00 PM
Very Apt! I completely agree with the viewpoints expressed by you in your poem. Prayer nowadays, has just become a mindless ritual. What's worse is that people who don't pray according to the so-called societal norms are considered atheists and people without values. Often, prayer is forced upon the... younger generation by elders, in the name of tradition and culture. According to me, tradition is an excuse to do things without meaning! Its now very rare to come across people who think prayer is a voice of the heart and is an individual's communication with the Almighty. Hope your poem atleast induces people to re-think on their ideologies and philosophies of Life and God.Read More
