I was urgently looking to get some track-pants for my daily exercise routine and thought of checking something out online. While I did check out various portals, I somehow finalized on two products from Snapdeal and paid online through debit card. I immediately got a confirmation message and email and was told that it would be shipped on the same day and I was expecting it within 3-4 days.
The next day I receive a message apologizing that there would be a delay and the products would now be shipped in the next 3 business days. Another 2 days passes by and I receive another message saying my order has been cancelled! I was furious to say the least at the sheer unprofessionalism of the whole transaction.
If the order was going to be cancelled anyway, they could have informed me before placing the order so that I could have atleast got my products elsewhere. I had to wait for about 5 days, hoping that these would come sometime and finally didn't have anything on hand.
The only saving grace was that I got the refund pretty soon. However, I don't think I want to try Snapdeal ever again after this.
