Sorry to hear. That sounds really bad. I too have a new ford and I need to give it for first free service. Planning to take it to Mody. Scared :)

I can feel your pain, because even I was shocked to see some very common features missing in my Ford car and I was disappointed when the car was delivered. However, you have to understand that sales advisors are often ill informed about many things related to the cars, and are also under enormous pr...essure to sell. So expect them to give a break to ethics from time to time, simply because of the nature of their jobs. So as a buyer, you must be sure about the complete set of features in the car before you place the order. Their rudeness can in no way be excused or justified, but prudence on the part of the consumer will eliminate most issues.Read More

Hi, I bought a car from Mody Ford and have been generally happy with their showroom service quality. However, in your case they seem to have made a false promise and pressured you into buying before a certain date. I know of their pressure tactics, but what they did to you is simply not right. Pleas...e check if this case qualifies to be presented in a consumer forum.Read More

Which bank did you take the loan from? Other than the loan glitch and the colour issue, the rest seem like communication issues, misunderstandings or negotiation issues. With these showrooms, we have to ask a lot of questions and assume nothing. The sad truth about the automobile industry is that it... is in a lot of trouble and dealers are forced to resort to some tricks to survive. Your presence of mind will keep you from being cheated or being taken for granted. Regarding resigtration process, it is best handled by self. All car showrooms charge 2.5K for registration out of which 650 goes to RTA and the rest is bribe + showroom profit. Go to an RTA office directly and you'll get it done for 650. Life tax: Its common knowledge that ANY second vehicle attracts a 2% additional road tax. Again, the more curious you are, the more you'll know. And coming to the price, every showroom quotes approximately the same price and it comes down to your haggling ability in getting discounts and freebies. They will want to maximize their profits at all times, quite naturally.Read More

It's sad to know you faced all these problems. I have a C7 too, but mine hasn't given me too many problems so far. The C7 is not so much as a handheld computer as it is an above average smartphone. But my needs were centered around functionality rather than performance, and the C7 beats everything e...xcept the iPhone in that regard. I tell people to buy a C7 if they can live with the flaws, and appreciate the basic philosophy behind this phone - simplicity and elegance. I'll write a detailed review soon. Nothing to say about Nokia Care - except that they are rogues!Read More

There are so few in India who understand the difference between psychoanalysis and psychiatry. Thank you for bringing to light the problems associated with psychoanalysis. I was considering consulting a psychoanalyst in Hyderabad, but I'm not sure there are any. Besides, your advice has got me think...ing against it. Let me know if there is a way to find out anyway. All I need is someone who can understand my condition and suggest remedies in not more than 10-15 sessions :-) So I don't really care if it's a psychoanalyst or a psychotherapist.Read More

on your point of Rancho being scared of ragging and not being sportive enough to accept it... I didn't think he was 'scared' really, it's just that he's not a person who can be dominated by anybody. He's the guy who makes the rules wherever he goes... so his walking away from the seniors was more a ...show of disobedience than fear. He locked himself up so he can think up on an idea to get the seniors scared of him while they can't get to him physically. [of course the scene that followed was gross :-) not acceptable to me!]Read More

Absolutely agree. Watched this film today and felt disappointed seeing the typical bollywood style humor and of course, the over-dramatization. Besides, a lot of the humor is outright disgusting and crude. The novel does a far better job than the film does. The film has a good theme, but bad executi...on. Indian films need to do better justice to the art of cinema.Read More

Rachita, Yeah, the 'thana scenes' were not really that decent. Fully agree on that. I didn't like any of the situations involving the police. It was typical 'Phir Hera Pheri' style humour when it came to that. But I do appreciate your taste. Even I give high marks to classy humor and would wan...t to see Indian movies get rid of childish humour for good. If you read my review, it must've talked great lengths on that :-) SriramRead More

I am convinced that we're moving towards making world class movies. We're not there yet, but we sure are getting there. I heard a lot of people speak about how disappointed they were about this movie. I know not why!Ok, let's take some guesses. Priyadarshan: That name draws crowds looking for...Read more

Om Puri is a versatile actor, and you should perhaps think of his character as a real person for a while and put aside the fact that Om Puri played it. Does that have any effect on your opinion? :-) I agree with you on everything else. But if I were making this film, I would have tried to make ...some of the situations more realistic (specially those involving Archana Puran Singh and those with the college students shouting slogans in chorus as though they had practiced for weeks).Read More

I too once came across a check-in counter clerk who was making faces and behaving badly with passengers, but that was just once. Also, 123 is right about the baggage part. Once you've agreed to the terms of the airline, you can't expect anything more that what is promised. I'm surprised you gav...e a rating of 1 to 'Flight Attendants', 'Seating Space' and 'Punctuality'. I would give 5 to all three, and I would rate IndiGo above Jet Airways in those categories.
