Our 32' Philips India TV packed up in 2 years and now they say that warranty is only 1 year. In addition, if we dont pay 960/- for service plus few thousand more for parts plus some more for labour charges plus take AMC, all told this will come to 5-6000 rupees, then they don't fix the Tv which ...is basically a software patch update. What a scam! Stay away from Philips India, is my advice.Read More

As soon as 2 years got over, the TV started malfunctioning. The repair technician said it is a software patch for which I got to pay 960/- rupees and take an AMC for 2000/- rupees per year. Luckily the old previous TV is still at home. Now this 2-year old Philips India TV is junk.

Wish I had read your review before going in for a Lenovo. They are totally unhelpful with after-sales and service and appear to be outright cheats too. A two year additional warranty is now shown as two in total. In addition, they make calls and then hang up, probably to show attempts have been made... to speak with customers. I had been warned that Lenovo's after sales service especially in warranty was totally useless and unhelpful in India and am experiencing this right now. Sad.Read More

Subsequent above, which was never 'resolved' but forgotten in the humdrum of life, I've used MMT again and as far as just buying a ticket is concerned, they work fine - though it is still adivsable to buy direct from the airline for long-term peace of mind.
