We have crossed 10000/- worth of orders from Big Basket after they launched in NCR-Delhi area and are more than satisfied for the following reasons.
Fresh produce, bakery, breads, fruits, veggies make up about 60% of our purchases and there is no doubt that this works best for us. Even the eggs they deliver are cheaper and better and in good shape when they reach us
The 50% credit for ordered item being billed but not delivered works, and how!The 10% discount for being a launch customer in addition to the regular discounts does help us a lot.
Delivery timelines, even in the Delhi heat, are adhered to.Customer service is extremely prompt.Branded MRP items are not old stock like is often the case in some shops and the packaging is not damaged.
What I would like-(a) an SMS about amount due when goods are dispatched, we have tried out all options and combos like COD, credit card, wallet and combos and(b) somehow lesser plastic wrapping if possible.
Great boon to us in NCR!
