I'm logging in after a very long time so I just got to read this one now. It's certainly a different take from ur usual reviews. But I must add, an absolutely wonderful review. I haven't read the book yet but now I will & maybe put up my own views.

....I just happened to check out the site as I needed sum advice on this product. Serious advice, cos I'm not techno-savvy rite now- rather quite the opposite. & I remembered I always relied on Ur revus to give me an honest & hilarious opinion.
& I was rite! But, what's Ur opinion about it now afte...r having the experience of almost 5 months now? Wud U still recom it? I wish to gift to my kid sis & I want nothin but the Best for her....

.. I'm sorry but I do not agree with U that Jesus died in vain. He came to earth to fulfil what was destined for Him & there are people, maybe just an unnoticeable number, who are affected. Jesus is also known as the Good Shepherd. He guards His flock of sheep with love, care & tenderness le...ading them on the right path to home. But even if a single sheep strays away, He goes in search of it because even that single sheep is important to Him.
True, we cannot change the world, but if we can change ourselves & make the world a better place for just one person, it is not a trivial matter. I'm not a religious person & believe more in humanity.
Even though I haven't watched the movie, I feel the true attempt was to make people realize that one Man suffered for us & to make us contemplate on what we are doing. It has been said each time we sin, it adds to the wounds of Jesus. If after seeing the blood & gory, the suffering & pain, the believers do not change for the better, then it is we who are heartless & cruel; more than those who actually tortured Jesus, cos we torture Him even more by drifting further away.
To understand the essence of the subject, the philosophy should be grasped first. Maybe I'm wrong but then maybe....

.. reflect in Ur wonderful review & though I do not have arthritis, I can imagine that it can be very painful. My right knee is weak & I do hope it won't develop into anything serious.
I have heard of a chinese treatment known as Guasa. It has a smooth guasa board made of bull's horns &am...p; comes with guasa oil. It is said to treat many illnesses including arthritis, by removing the body toxins & balancing the metabolism of the body. I tried it on myself for my insomnia & it's great. If U find it there, maybe U could try it. It's non-chemical.

.. & my favorite would be Noddy & Kipper, the dog. I don't like Pingu. Arghhhhh! I generally don't watch Pogo but my lil sis is hooked onto it unless Pokemon is showing on Cartoon Network. She loves most of the shows on Pogo including Mr. Bean. I think they have some educational programs als...o like Science Hour or something & Bakeman's world. My sis experiments whatever she can & the other day she even made a bouncing egg after learning it on Pogo. Good channel for kids.

Thats a good change & Ur review is wonderful. I'm not too keen on watching this movie though I know for sure, my sis will eat my head if I don't get her the CD. So, for the sake of saving y head & little of ...whatever is left inside....

Thanx to both of U for RRCing my review & appreciating it too. I liked it a lot though the other novel is more chilling. This once gives a different kind of thrill.
Yes, I too think it would have made a wonderful movie.
Preran, true that life often gives us a jolt cos we often don't reali...se the value of what we hold until it slips out of our hands & is too far away for us to retrieve it. A jolt is okay, but a series of jolts can sumtimes be too much even for the strongest person. If only life would give another chance....

.. on a great epic. Haven't watched either this nor Elektra but I'm looking forward to this one.
I guess the involvement of the gods in the battle was necessary as this war took place to fulfil an oracle which said at Paris' birth that he would cause the downfall of his father & the kingdom. ...He was sentenced to death by exposure on the hillside by his father, King Priam but was rescued by a kind shepherd. The was occured due to the eloping of Paris & Helen & led to the fulfilment of the oracle.
The history of greek gods is very interesting.

.. as well as detailed explanations. I too don't like the album of this movie & haven't been able to hear it a 2nd time. Though I think I'll watch the movie since my sister will eat my head if I don't get the CD for her. But no theatres for me for this one.

I don't use RIM & was curious as I'm debating on changing my cell. U have mentioned that they give free talktime of 100 & 450 respectively, but what are the charges after that? Rs. 1800 i...s the down payment, but is it refundable? What are the charges for sms?
It seems like a favourable service if all Ur friends have the same service of RIM. Otherwise, isn't it costly calling RIM to landlines or other cellular services?
I know I can find these info on the sites but then why would I read Ur review?

.. Thanx for Ur quick RRC. If this makes U feel like 'Go grab it now', then the other novel by the same writer, Midnight is a Lonely Place, is even better. Try to get the 2 bestsellers in 1 volume, it's a good sweep.
