Rang Deeni: Kailash Kher, Mahua Kamat & Shradhha Pandit

In the beginning, we hear Kailash's strong voice, along with the female singers chanting, ''Rang Deeni''. How can I say this.... Well, it's a qawwali/techno with foot tapping beats and interesting percussion used. It is not my kind of number, since it slows down during the verses, and then gets into normal rhythm throughout the song. Both the females, were very good in this number, by going lower or higher in different octaves.

This song could have been better if they used another male singer and different lyrics to it... Though hear out for the bass guitar in this song, very interesting and catchy. This is not one of those songs, where you just blast it in the car and enjoy the ride - no. The tune of this song sounds very similar to ''Pag Ghunghroo Baandh'' - An Amitabh's number from ''Namak Halal''. Listen and compare, you'll understand what I mean. Haha... MY RATING: 7/10

Jab Nahin Aaye The Tum: Kareena Kapoor

Fardeen whispers some love quotes to Kareena before the song begins... Then a shaky voice comes out, ''Jab Nahin Aaye...''. Ha ha! Kareena is off key! Totally! But the background music is nice and peaceful, with some piano and orchestra music. Kareena does have a singing voice, but she couldn't seem to control it, and manage to stay in note. It's kind of cute and funny at the same time. It is a nice song though, though you can't tell what the exact notes are, but the background chorus helps her out to tell the audiences how the song exactly goes. The second verse music comes out of nowwhere for no reason, and then Kareena's voice shakes again. Perhaps she was frightened by the music! Lol... Could have been a better song if it was another female singer, perhaps Shreya Ghoshal... Nice song though. Overall, Kareena was not bad. MY RATING: 7/10

Allahu: Aadesh Shrivastava & Asha Bhosle

I don't know what is up with Aadesh these days, by screaming all sort of words.. This time it's ''Allah'', and he scared the heck out of me! Boy needs to calm down! Again, techno is used, I don't think a combination of techno and religious words go together. Somehow, it sounds offensive. No one can make any decent song or qawwali praising God. Trust me, not even Aadesh. After all the craziness you hear from Aadesh and his male chorus, thank god for Asha, bringing out some decency to this song from her voice. Along with soft tablas and chorus, Asha brings out the peacefulness. Aadesh really ruins the whole thing.. Awful... MY RATING: 5/10

Tujh Sang Bandhi Dor: Sonu Nigam

Sonu shows the dark and mysterious side from his voice in the beginning, quite creepy. Sonu's voice has been the best in this album so far. A haunting, yet wonderful song. Along with the interesting bass guitar, and percussion. Though, none of these songs are interesting for me to keep on listening or listen while doing anything. MY RATING: 6.5/10

Jab Nahin Aaye The Tum: Vijeta Pandit

Same song, but voice different. Still, the voice does not match with the song entirely. No good from Vijeta.

Mangalam Ganesham: Abhijeet

I never liked Abhijeet's voice, though his voice is very different in here. This song sounds very South, yet it is a bit enjoyable. Very interesting use of tabla, and the male chorus. I couldn't understand the https://lyrics. Though it is a very difficult song. MY RATING: 6/10

In conclusion, I think these songs are for in the film only, perhaps only during the background while watching the actors act and say their dialogues. I have a feeling it won't be a hit album, because they are not for listening casually.

I will still see this film though, with no expectations... I LOVE FARDEEN KHAN!
