I have been an MS member since Feb 04. I have written around 15 reviews here. The ones that were not good were commented upon, and the ones that were good were appreciated. I have not faced any groupism here. It may be due to the fact that i come to MS only to read and write reviews not to make f...riends or meet new people. You are entitled to have your own opinion about MS, and thus i too have a right to have mine Regards ManishRead More

Its ok to have an editorial about a political party, but TOI continues to brag on and on about the congress It is not right for a mass publication paper to be biased in any way as this could influence the people

The only major linux company which has 'disappeared ' is Caldera. RedHat is the market leader and continues to release new versions SCO may have a lawsuit , but i would rather believe in Linus Torvalds than in a a company like SCO which has support of Microsoft This is not a rumour, please read h...ttp://www.opensource.org/halloween/halloween10.html as for peripheral support , Linux now supports almost all peripherals, except the very latest. We do not feel the need for linux in india because 99% of windows used in india is illegal Linux is here to stay Read More

hey wonderful review. i think i will buy this baby now btw, you have said that 3x optical and 4x digital make 12x optical zoom .. well that is not entirely correct if we use optical zoom we can zoom as much as the camera allows without any drop in the pic quality.. whereas digital zoom is nothing ...but blowing up a pic digitally which can be done easily in photoshop , ms paint etc. so one should look only at the optical zoom before buying a cam and ignore the digital zoom Keep writing ManishRead More

i strongly protest against what yiou have mentioned in the cons column.. Linux not for learners? Rubbish How did you learn linux then if you were not a learner? i used linux for the first time when i was 14 yrs old. and i even managed to install it on my Mac (i was being guided by a book of co...urse) . But the point is i learnt Linux is a joy to use and is far more logical in its operation than windows Red Hat 9 with its GUI is as easy to operate as Windows XP if not easier When people make statements like linux is 'difficult' in media they just dissuade people from using linux .. and you should always remember that linux user base is required to make it more user friendly. It is sometimes so sad to see that people make these statements in media .. have you ever had the joy of compiling your own kernel? or editing your own runlevel? Now try to do that in windows and you will see which OS is more diffcult to use Regards ManishRead More
