Dear Chetan! & all @ mouthshut community! Would like to share this, it goes more in line with Chetan's SBI card experience. I am sure many of us would have undergone the following situation. Why not? like chetan I have undergone a similar experience with SBI credit cards for one wrong entry in... my card transaction account and it took a hell out with the lallu panchu call agents to set it right! In call centeres that I have seen in the last 3-5 years especially, (my personal bad experiences are with : Telecom SPs: -------------------- - Hutch - Airtel (Bharti) - Aircel (Maxis) - The erstwhile RPG - Nokia (twice my mobile was rejected for a warranty replacement! sheer corporate bureaucracy!) Computers --------------- - HCL (laptops) Banks & Finance Insts. --------------------------------- - Almost most of the leading banks (esp. for credit cards) such as : - SBI - ICICI - Citibank - HDFC Some common process issues: -------------------------------------------- - A makes a complaint to a call agent A1, it some times does not get recorded - A again calls after few days for no follow up action, B1 another call agent listens to you newly, so A vomits again -A again calls up and new C1 picks up, (by then you have suffered for a week), then A start screaming right from beginning - Referes A1, B1 & now having lost 95% confidence on the system, says even C1 wont heed to his problems and come out with a solution - Exactly, that happens, on the 10th day probably, A tries to get some top level (managerial level) email id using all his contacts (or at best, writes to customer care emai id!) no response,... - again forwards chain email... - again few tel. follow ups - by then, min. 20 days happens... - then, after final escalation, a manager responsibile gets all A's nasty words, then starts falling back (almost begging!) or at times they write a rude simple reply, you will have to now do this...do that...ha..ha..ha.. Dear Vijay! I have faced personal experiences with : 1. Luna Magnum - One leading luna / two wheeler dealer in chennai 2. Bajaj scooter-my chassis was stolen by a leading dealer during my first free service 3. bajaj 4-S bike...never it was serviced properly during free service...all free servi...ces..they try to steal parts..may not be the owner..but mechanics inside..play a dhadha role in all this... 4. Maruti 800...now 5 years old...with LPG Lovato kit, I maintain the car myself with one great car mechanic of chennai who is my friend...but my bad experiences are with : ABT TVS SAGAR Automobiles, Bangalore Panasonic (for Maintenance Free Battery)-cheats... Maruti Authorised Stations - few in bangalore, one high way robbery of a maruti authorised look alike... Here are few tips: - Try and apply some cool cream (nivea)/soft coconut oil (parachute) would soothen the skin (as any hair removal cream uses high end chemicals which destroys the few levels of the epidemal layer (so it gives you the burning sensation, which will l...ast for couple of days), - may be you can visit a dermatologist (well known to you) and ask him for some telecon tips to overcome such irritation... - Always for such sensitive skin applications, try long term proven stable brands such as Anne French... - for next few days, apply some soft hair oil (even a baby hair oil like J & J product) would give you soothing effect.
