This is my TRUE experience with BIMAL AUTO AGENCY, Bangalore.


I have booked Maruti 800 (on 26th August 2006).


Concerns: (For BIMAL areas of improvement)


I booked crystal gold colored M-800 STD (non-AC) on Saturday 26th Aug 2006, got reply on Monday 28th Aug, that the vehicle is “damaged” and I need to either wait or take the showroom piece (which is Bimal Edition). I opted for Bimal edition without the Audio Player.


I was told that I will get discount of Rs. 5000/- if I produce my 2-wheeler RC Book Xerox. I submitted all the copies (like invoice, insurance, and RC Book Xerox).


I went to take delivery, on Wednesday 30th Aug 2006, evening 7.30PM, I (along with my friend and my father) had to wait for about an HOUR to get my delivery! I asked several times even before I came to take delivery that is PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) done? I got response “YEAH! EVERYTHING IS OK”


Further, at the time of delivery, on Wednesday 30th Aug 2006, I was told that I would not be getting discount of Rs. 5000/- as my application was rejected!! (The explanation for the rejection was not clear)


I was promised to have some complementary gifts (though small things like perfume), it was not there when I checked during delivery! And I was told to come next day to get the same!


During delivery, the sales person promptly settled all payments that I had to make, but I had to wait for ONE hour because the salesperson was busy with some other customer! I had to run-around to follow him and ask again and again to come and explain and handover the CAR.


There was no such thing as WISHING CUSTOMER on buying a vehicle!!! I was not greeted (Sounds small thing, but makes a large impact on how the behavior changes at time of delivery and at time of making the deal).


Well, after one hour, the sales person comes and shows the car. Alas!! The lamp inside CAR does NOT work! What a welcome gesture! Well I compromised saying OK. Next, the left indicator was not working!


I had asked for Xerox copy of the LOAN DOCUMENT . I was told that he will get it to my office. But I was not even contacted and told how to collect and from whome I can collect the copy of document.


With such a situation – I was asked to take the vehicle and he will get it done everything tomorrow! How do they expect me to take the vehicle in partially working condition?


I just left the showroom without taking my vehicle. Still it is lying in your SHOWROOM. Myself, my father and my friend all of us had to waste our valuable time n energy!


In such a condition – I can never ever recommend any of my friends to buy a car from BIMAL showroom.


I am totally disappointed.
